Yeah, just about all new routers include access restriction. It may be worth it to pick a WRT54G, it is a great router all around anyways.

Yeah, I don't think most of these people really understand what services like LogMeIn or Bomgar allow you to do. It brands the entire experience for you, user just puts in a 6 digit pin code at a web site and they get connected.
