Thanks for all that replied and for dropping some knowledge. Sucks that I can't really sell it as easily as a retail copy. What if I sold the piece of hardware that accompanied my initial purchase?
Posting this because I have no idea and after hours of searching trying to find the answer, I've given up.
Situation:
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 from a couple years ago. It came with Vista Basic. A few months ago, I bought a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium OEM off NewEgg. I did a fresh...
I have a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium OEM for sale (but not entirely sure what hardware needs to be accompanied.)

Have an extra copy from a computer I built for someone who ended up changing their mind. This is a genuine copy of Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium OEM operating system. It has been activated once before but has since been deactivated so you will not have any problems getting this to activate...
it may suck for everything but it sure is pretty. i thought about getting this from amazon a while back when it was on sale for like 20 bucks. but i hate the thought of going back to hard wired kb & mouse
but either way people are going to be upset simply due to the fact that they're not able to provide users with unlimited data usage as stated in said contract.

yes ... depending on who it is and how well versed they are. not everyone deals with this stuff all the time and when there are so many different options, it's hard to keep track of it all.
i say the hell with it and just try it for yourself and see :D
Are you sure the Win 7 Upgrade disc is bootable? If not, you'll have to source another disc. If I were you, I'd just load the recovery disc and let it load up Vista, and then immediately upgrade to 7.
That's a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet setup you got there. A lot of cool gadgets that I'm curious to know what it is. Especially that Altoids box. What is that?
i think anything out these days is going to be better than what you had in the past. not sure if you had a faulty ms mouse where the red light was on all the time, in my experience, the light will go off once the mouse goes idle. then it'll come back on with movement. unless you had it on an...
