yeah ive tried several usb ports with same result. the noise is the du-nah.. the computer (through speakers) makes when u connect devices through usb. just gets really annoying since the mouse is disconnect and reconnecting so frequently. im guessing the mouse is crapping out on me but hope not.

thanks for the advice. i was messing around and i restarted and it went to a black screen to ask me which os i wanted to load. i loaded up windows 7 and just deleted the partition where i accidently had installed vista in. :D problem solved.

how would i make it my primary harddrive the first to boot. in boot options i only see that it can go from cd drives, to sata drives, to usb.

I am a noob at this. I wasn't paying attention and reinstalled vista on my storage harddrive and now I cant go back to original OS on my original harddrive cause my secondary harddrive became the new "C" drive. so how do i uninstall/remove the OS from my secondary harddrive???

I highly doubt that the games will demand much from our computers. Whenever a beta or w/e is announced for either game, thats whenever I will buy my graphics card xD The most I would spend would probably be in the low hundred's since I mainly am buying it for just those two games.

i wasnt too blown away but i find the graphics nice and gameplay online fun. if you cant decide, rent the game to see if you like it or not. and no i have not even touched the campaign. and yes the controllers are a pain to getting used to.

I am probably going to play a few rounds to level up some but will play KZ2 mostly. Also starting the 24th till the 27th the map pack for COD4 will be half priced so that is good news who want to pay $5 for 3 maps on a game thats 2 years old.

Personally I would drop the velociraptor and get the Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB instead. the speed difference between the two doesn't warrant the extra hundred dollars you would be spending on the raptor. with that money you could invest it into your video card and get a gtx 260.

before you pull the trigger, search different websites to see if theres better deals. check frys and microcenter if you have one near you. for example at microcenter you can buy the i7 920 for like $230 instore.

Personally I would recommend building your own computer if your intention is to game on it. Why? Because it's cheaper.

If your not planning on doing any gaming, then I would say go with the hd3450 personally i would go with the q6600 processor also you wont need 750w so you can get a cheaper power supply unless you plan to game in the future and will need it then. i am not sure but i think its better...
