Just ordered the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA

Is there any risk that the LCD might get damaged over time by using it at that frequency? Compared to the input lag test that prad.de made of the 2209WA(min10, avg24, max 40), your numbers are much lower. Is that all due to the higher frequency or is it other variables?

I've pm'ed you a few questions about your setup, but since you don't post much, you're probably not logged in most of the time, so I thought I'd post here to let you know, there's a pm waiting for you.

Just ordered the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA

@10e Any chance that you will do input lag measurements? It would be nice with a second set of numbers, just to be sure that the input lag is indeed around 20ms. It would be greatly appreciated.

e-IPS is a detuned IPS LCD panel for the same price as TN?

For some reason the not-translated link, I posted, has not been updated, at least on my end, so it still appears as he wrote it had no input lag, but I can see the translated version is updated with his input lag graph. 20.6ms, not bad.

Recommend me a low input lag HDTV for harcore FPS PC gaming.

According to this review of the Sony 40W4000, it has 30ms lower input lag than Samsung F96, which would be around 0ms compared to a CRT. http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/Sony-KDL40W4000/Calibration/"]http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/Sony-KDL40W4000/Calibration/[/URL] I have been looking for a LCD for...

NEC MultiSync 24WMGX³ First Professional Review Translated

Looks like the monitor I've been waiting for. Almost no input lag, great viewing angles, standard colour gamut(right?), 1:1 pixelmapping, lots of inputs, ect. If only it was cheaper. I just can't get myself to pay that much for a 24" monitor, when I can get a great 1080p plasma for the...

Do I not want a TN panel?

Sorry for going offtopic here, but which monitor did you get instead of the G2400W? I too returned my G2400W because of the viewing angles, and I'm now looking for another monitor.

    BenQ G2400W

I bought this monitor, and returned it 2 weeks later. I couldn't get used to the vertical viewing angles. I went from a 17inch LG CRT to the G2400W and back to the CRT. Besides the problem with the viewing angles, of which I was warned, it is a very nice monitor. Completed Crysis and CoD4 on it...
