So someone is barking at the depreciation of game prices. Wow... sorry, didn't think I'd want pay full price for the original DOOM, Ultima I, etc. either.
Why would I even care of the DRIVER is carrying? I rather carry and I do. The driver has ZERO responsibility for my protection regardless if they are carrying or not.
Cut the cable TV cord. I've been using a traditional OTA to get free HD broadcasts for about a year now.
Unfortunately, Comcast has me by the balls when it comes to internet and they know it. There is NO other ISP in my area. None, nada, zip. I pay $67/month for 20mbs down and 4mbs up.
Dealership are complaining because they are tied with manufacturers. You cannot just buy a Ford, or Toyota, right from the manufacturer floor. You HAVE to have a middle man, the dealership.
It's screwy, but it's the current law. The other dealerships would have NO problem if Tesla had to...
Problem I found with TES is that it did nothing to separate itself from the 100's of other generic MMOs out there. I don't know, nothing really stood out.
I enjoyed the first one. The combat did get a bit repetitive, but it was fun nonetheless.
Only thing with the new trailer... a roller skating zombie? Really now?
I really hate Comcast. When they did the install to my house, they snipped the coax cables that ran into my other rooms that did not have a TV, and snipped the coax leading to my OTA antenna. Then they stole my 4 input grounding block, and replaced it with a single.
When I switched back to...
I can see the average XP user not wanting to go through the hassle of upgrading to Win8 on their aging PC because they fear change is totally going to install and use Linux...totally.
I'm cutting the cord to cable tv (Comcast). I just purchased an OTA Antenna. Unfortunately, Comcast/Xfinity decided to SNIP all the cable ends to my other rooms in my house when they did the initial install, even after I labeled them. Just a rant, but I can't believe they did that. I had to buy...
Heh. Living 80 miles from Mexico's border, I actually know a lot of people that go south for dental and cancer treatment because it's cheaper. They actually have good dentists with state-of-the-art equipment. They can do anything from simple cleanings, fillings, root-canals, partials and...
As a 42 year old, watching young people raise children, I've seen the decline of creativity in young children. As a disclaimer, this is just anecdotal of what I see.
Technology has laid out what they should see in their mind's eye right out in front of them with no effort. Creativity leads...
I received the game as a birthday gift. So far, I'm having a lot of fun with it. I love the map designs even though they seem small. It's a fast run-and-gun game that I can pick up and play without investing a lot of time.
A couple of gripes:
I'm only level 17, but it seems the only weapon...
Actually, if you have ever fired a firearm, especially a pistol, you'd know that hitting a moving target beyond 5 yards is hard.
A firearm is a force multiplier. I can easily run down an unarmed woman with a knife. It's harder for me to run down a woman who is wielding a firearm.
List is full of fail.
No Freespace.
No Falcon 3
Battlehawks 1942
No Janes
Even Origin's Strike Commander was more fun than half those games listed.
but they list a rail shooter, Rogue Squadron and StarFox
I like it because of Walmart's super easy return policy. If I change my mind, or the product isn't as described, I can simply drive to my local walmart and return it for a full refund, rather than try to pay shipping charges back, getting an RMA#, etc.
I meant to add, and this is just MY GUESS, is that the first robot soldiers would be akin to suicide bombers. Basically, a little tough track or all-terrain robot with cameras that can go in and self-detonate. Basically, clearing a very hostile area effectively and with precision.
Long term saving costs would be huge. One of the big costs to the armed services is for pensions and long term care after service.
Unless there was some quantum leap in AI, robots will be still controlled by soldiers, (hopefully soldiers with a conscience) much like drones have replaced...
Really, the only thing unhealthy about fast food is the amount of calories it packs into a small meal. The second thing is that it's nutritionally light (very few micro nutrients).
A Big Mac alone is 550 calories. A double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese = 750 calories.
Sugars are nothing but...
I blame marketing. Of the people I know who love the Wii, they didn't even know there was a WiiU even after release. THey are not the type of gamers that visit game sites/forums, or actively seek game information on the latest and greatest. They are casual gamers.
The first WiiU commercial on...
That's because they finished it in 3 days casually playing it. Loved the game, but glad I bought it for $10. Way too short.
Back on topic, played GW2 for 4 solid months. Best $60 I spent. Thinking about going back, and what's great is I can jump back anytime without spending a dime more.
Talk of this always makes me want to re-install Shadowrun. I had a blast playing against console players. Halo 2 wasn't as much fun against console players. It was pretty boring.
I'd give any controller a spin. I mainly use them for racing games. It looks cool.
I really wish someone would make a UBS or wireless handheld Steering wheel controller like the UltraRacer 64. I used to have one for hte PC. It plugged into the old "Game/MIDI" port. Worked like a dream until...
