$100 shipped. no pics since it will be in use until sale goes through. never had any issues with this system and it runs as cool as the other side of the pillow. i dont have retail box or oem cooler. thanks for looking.
they're too random to try that...it can go a few days in between or it can be 5 in a few hours...what i'm wondering if theres anything i can do since it started when i installed sp2
edit: google was my friend and i uninstalled sp2. hopefully this crap will stop.
its so damn annoying cause it never happens when you'd expect a bsod. i oc my video card when i play games and nothing. but god forbid i close firefox or leave a podcast playing...bam BSOD.
anyone else getting random blue screens after installing sp2?. before installing i cant even remember the last bsod i got. every time the error is "win32k.sys". i havent put any new hardware and keep all my drivers up to date. any idea what the problem could be?
i have a 4gb sandisk cruzer as a readyboost drive and forever everytime i plug in a usb device such as camera, phone, ipod i would get a dialog box saying windows media player has crashed. it would also crash if i tried to open the program or use media center. well the other day i took out the...
i attached a 120mm fan and still nothing...not even buzz. i remember dropping a pair of scissors on top of the case right where the psu would be. maybe thats what knocked the piece of solder loose that fell out it. oh well.
heres some pictures of the back of the pcb. is this wad of crap considered acceptable in consumer products? i'm not familiar with whats considered shoddy work.
i noticed the light on the 2nd port of my router was off so i checked my other comp to make sure the power cord was in and blah blah. when i pressed the power button i get nothing. no fans, no beeps, nada. i've disconnected everything except power to the cpu and mb and get the same results. i've...
isnt that more for bent pins on an AMD cpu?. the contacts in an intel socket are like little springs...i agree with the tweezers and magnifying glass...try as hard as you can to make it resemble adjacent contacts. jesus christ i remember hosing a board cause the velcro on my esd strap brushed...
anyone have any insight on incentives MS might have for beta users? i'd like to run it on my main rig but i dont want to have to start over in august or whenever it turns off. i have an MSDN account through my school...maybe it will show up there for free when its released.
any thoughts?
i run windows 7 on my eeepc and it runs pretty good. doesnt seem as snappy as xp but its very usable. vista brought it to a crawl...it was awful.
i have a celeron DC 1.6ghz with 4gigs of ram and it runs windows 7 without a hitch.
if you can return yours look for a 1000h model with an 80gb hdd. this seems to be the solid model. i've been problem-free since day 1 and i've heard similar from other owners.
also have you tried reinstalling the drivers for the touchpad? or using a different OS. Windows 7 runs great.
have never used a raptor but i upgraded an older hitachi 7200rpm to a wd black aals drive and it was a night and day difference in loading games and general use.
i agree...my brothers 8800gt has something wrong with the clip on the power plug and if its not completely pushed in it makes a banshee scream from hell.
my 1000h has bluetooth and a 6cell battery...i'm confused about these HA and HE models. when you get it give windows 7 a try on it, runs smoothly and seems to get a tad better battery life than with xp. also if you have a few extra bucks go ahead and get an external dvdrom. i never thought it...
go with the setup you have in the OP. my friend has the same equip with no oc and only 3gigs of ram and it maxs everything at 1920x1200. if you feel its necessary later on you could always add another gtx260. i would disregard all the references to whether or not it could run crysis at whatever...
i have to have an xp install to fool around with for one of my classes and after using vista for so long and now some windows 7...xp while very fast on todays hardware is just awful to look at it from a gui aspect.
we got those boston acoustics speakers with a gateway computer a long time ago...they were really good. also i had these logitechs for a while and they sound pretty good for the price. very loud also...
i have my cable modem hooked up to linksys wrt54gs running dd-wrt. i have it hooked up to a hawkins directional antenna and my brother with the same antenna on his nic gets great reception but the rest of the house gets 2 bars at most. to make a short story long if i get another wrt54gs w/...
i used to use the ocz ram cooler but its quite big and i assume the fans arent the highest quality. both units i had the fans started to make noise. squeezing the aluminum piece would usually make it stop though.
i'm surprised they let you keep it. they sent me a cheap raidmax case that looked like it had been crushed by a bear and i asked them to just give me my money back and i'd keep the case as is. after 14 emails they ended up paying to ship the broken case back to them and gave me free overnight...
i play cod4/5 and have never seen my fps under 60. if you already have a lga775 mb/ram go for the e8400 and oc to your wildest imagination. if you got the cash an i7/gtx 260 slaps wow around at that resolution.
