I bought one of these made by Rii. This keyboard design is used by a few KB manufacturers. I bought the Rii version because i could get it in Bluetooth. which IMHO is better because i can use it on the PS3 my laptop with BT built in, and my HTPC with the dongle.
In other words i never have to...
Since like the 9000 series cards, nvidia has made the worst cooler designs ever. I just dont see why people by reference cards. I mean, unless you just HAVE to be an early adopter, what is the point? worse cooling, less overclocking, definitely no over volting, and last UGLY! I would def prefer...
A few things have been updated since my last post, mainly my monitor. :p
Got a new mousepad, the Goliathus is actually smaller than I expected. My previous pad is 14 inches tall. Im going to have to get used to the vertical range.
All this after I told myself I was never going to buy...
Actually maybe go with a piece of orange plexi. As far as skills. You need plexiglass glue ( to glue two pieces at an angle.) and a power saw of your choice to cut it. as far as mounting it in the case, take velcro strips and cut them down to width. Done.
Would you like some motherboard with...
If you know that the PSU that you are using is defective and you continue to use it, if you ruin more equipment its your own fault.
Also, this is where Caviar SE and WD RED drives come into play. Both RED and SE are built for servers. Red more for NAS devices but the ECC tech, prevents windows...
Thanks guys, maybe before too much longer, I'll be able to post in the Storage thread. I still need like 6 more TB though. Alright, no more of my clutter, back to the man caves!
I'm reposting this as I think the Storage forum would be a more knowledgeable place for it. I know there is not that much storage going on here, but now at least I have a place to put it all. =)
Did I do well?
Finally upgraded my rig. From an AMD Phenom II x4 925 to an Intel 2700K, ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 mobo, and Corsair Vengeance 8GB @1600. And no, I did NOT WANT the 2700K, but Microcenter was out of the 2600k's @$199. I was soo sad. I got $50 off the mobo though, so I got it for $75. Spent $430...
Yeah, I know that I am not the only one. And it's really screwed up, because to be honest, I actually loved the Orochi mouse. As for the other products, I wrote them off as a lesson learned. I still use the mouse as a spare for my folding rig in my garage.
Other than that, I will NEVER buy a...
I just love how people keep saying that Corsair's drivers and software for their mice is terrible, yet no one has any proof or specifics on why it's bad.
I have used the M90 for a month now, and have set up tens of macros, the sensor is awesome and precise, and have yet to have a problem with...
Yup, you really only have 1 choice. But let me tell you, IT'S AN AWESOME CHOICE.
The mouse itself is very well built and the software built just as well. Some don't like it because it can get a little complicated, but I think that it's what makes it awesome.
Trust me you aren't going to find...
THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS RIGHT OVER THE LAZY DOG!
Even though I have read everything about usb and nkey rollover, the quickfire rapid pulls it off flawlessly.
Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid (USB)
To answer your question, no I have no heard anything about it.
My own 2 cents though, Razer has SERIOUSLY taken a huge step back in terms of quality peripherals. Don't get me wrong, I loved their early products. But after my Orochi's side buttons physically dying internally, and my Lycosa...
I just got done fighting with Razer about an RMA on my Razer Orochi. One of the side buttons doesn't work, it clicks but doesnt register and I need to press all 4 of the side buttons at the same time to enable the bluetooth pairing mode. And after about 20 emails back and forth, they tell me...
From everything that I have read, Intel went the route of longevity and reliability instead of read/writes, which to me makes much more since, and if you have to pay a little more for reliability and length of life, I'm ok with that.
Dude, I tried to explain my uncle this, but I simply just could not get it through his skull. Nothing I said to him convinced him. I just guess the .1ghz clock difference was enough to justify $30-$40. This processor just makes me sad.
I just quietly laugh it it when I see it.
I was about to say the same thing. And along these lines, does anyone know of any other PC modding/case modding podcasts? like building, modding, custom stuff but in a podcast? video podcasts would be nice too!
Actually they basically still have a show of that nature. They have a whole network of shows, they are just all online. http://live.twit.tv They just don't have a show about pc modding, which is what I'm looking for. Case modding, gpu, cpu, everything involving computer mods.
Anyone know of any good PC modding or PC hardware podcasts? The only one that I really know of is http://pcper.com/podcast . I've been watching the TWiT network since back in the day when Leo Laporte and Patrick Norton were doing shows on cable, The screen savers and what not.
Lately I've been...
I try to tell people to give the Corsair M90 a chance, it is a little on the heavier side, although it has a great layout and leaves a place for your thumb to pick the mouse up a little.
If you aren't into the heavier mouse I would also suggest trying the Razer Naga Hex...
Just got my first mechanical, and I have to say that I am in love. I ordered the CM Quickfire Rapid with Cherry MX Blues. I love it. I'm bottoming out the keys, but I'm learning to half press them. It's hard.
I do want to get a red escape key, I also mapped the multimedia buttons at the...
