I'm resurrecting this old thread instead of making a new one.
I'm looking at the HannsG on newegg and it's rather tempting. Does anyone have any new input or thoughts on this monitor?
Currently I have the Benq V2400W which is no longer being produced and I'd like to get another 1920x1200...
I used to have this utility that you could customize your Windows installation image before you burned it onto a CD. You could make the CD have your network drivers and RAID drivers for example. So when you were doing the windows installation and windows asked for you to insert a floppy or...
Just got my ATH A900's today from Japan.
Much better sound than my Sennheiser 485 HD. These things are comfortable as hell. Great clarity and since they cover your entire ear, it creates a nice seal to keep in all the sound and you get some great bass. Excellent choice of headphones...
I've got the Senn's HD515, they're really comfortable, only downside is the bass is very lacking. I had bought them because my Senn HD 485 would hurt my ears after long use. The 485's though have much better over all clarity and bass compared to the HD515.
I'm looking for a set that are...
So in the last 3 years I've gone through 2 sets of PC speakers.. The klipsch pro media 5.1s died on me in January. I then went with the Logitech Z-5500's and then those started fucking up on me just couple of weeks ago. I had thought the Logitech's were pretty good until I was reading the...
Even the z-5500's aren't that great. They have known issues to have popping occur. Logitech has already said they'd honor a replacement if you can show an original receipt. Blah blah blah, they can't make quality speakers.
Thanks for the quick response, that 750TX I was just looking at getting to upgrade.
Edit: And thanks for the link to provantage. I was gonna get the PSU from newegg, but it's $97.61 from provantage AND I get a $20 mail in rebate.
750 watt PSU for $77? Hell yes! :D
What's the requirements for the GTX280 to be powered? Do you need both the 8 and 6 pin PCI-E power connectors to be connected? Just the 8? It can run on the 6 but not at full power?
I know you need at least a 550W PSU. Unsure if both of the power connectors absolutely have to be powered.
You must've gotten lucky with your 226BW.
Mine just took a shit. First one I ordered, I experienced some flickering. Sent it into Samsung and got a replacement. The "new" 226bw, was a heck of a lot better, brighter and more vibrant colors. After 5 months I noticed a yellow hue started to...
Thanks for the response, I guess the Dell E248WFP isn't that good of an option then?
I was also looking at the 22inch Dell, SP2208WFP
What's everyone's take on this one?

It got...
Ok, so my Samsung 226 BW just died today.
I'm looking for a new monitor preferably, non-Samsung. This is my 2nd 226BW, first one I RMA'ed because it was flickering, this one was replacement, and now after 3 months it died.
I was looking at getting a 24'' for gaming. I'd also like it to...
I've been looking at several ASUS boards and they say "DDR2 1066 / 800 / 667 MHz
The chipset officially supports the memory frequency up to DDR2 800MHz. Tuned by ASUS Super Memspeed Technology, this motherboard natively supports up to DDR2 1066MHz"
What exactly does that mean? Does it mean...
I'm using the stock heatsink/fan on my E6750. I use Intel's Thermal Analysis Tool and when I'm idling it says my temps are at 34c...Is this even accurate for a stock heatsink and yet when I open up Everest it says my temps are at 48-49c.
So I just purchased the Tuniq tower from newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835154001
But I also was looking and read about the ThermalRight Ultra-120 Extreme, and when I heard about the ThermalRight, I was wondering which of the two would be a better buy...
Damn I should've bought the thermal right instead of the tuniq tower...oh well live and learn I guess.
How much better is the Thermal right than the Tuniq tower? Cause if it's a huge different I'll just return the tower to newegg for a refund and get the thermalright instead.
Would you guys say the thermalright is a better CPU cooler than the Tuniq Tower?

Yeah the S1 Rev. 2 is supposed to be awesome, the problem is finding a site online that sells it. I ordered one and it sold out and they had to refund me my money.
Ah ok, what's the best way to heat up the ramsinks that come with the cooler?
Just got an e-mail from side winder computers and they freaking sold out of the heatsink!
Gonna have to find some other e-tailer that sells it now!
Thanks for the input, just ordered it, should be getting it this week.
Oh and thanks a lot Hazarro for posting an e-tailer that was selling it, cause I couldn't find it anywhere
Should I have also purchased some thermal grease or should it come with at least a little?
So there's not way to screw a fan onto the heatsink itself then I"m assuming?
I found this on newegg, and would this be good enough for an 8800 GT?
