To be honest, I haven't had much success using the device in the video clip, particularly on acrylic. I'd try it out on a scrap piece that's the same thickness and composition. If it turns out, great.
Option 1:
Use a 5-1/2" hole saw. Use reverse rotation to keep from shattering the hell out of it. When drilling screw holes, use an acrylic bit. Normal bits can easily grab and chip/shatter the material.
Option 2:
Buy a piece of polycarbonate (aka. Lexan) that matches the thickness of tbe...
You can see the blue LEDs spaced about 2" apart along the front bottom in the base. Most likely, there's another row of LEDs out of view in the top (lid) of the case.
With positive pressure (by using more intake than exhaust fans) with good filters, you can control exactly where air enters the case. Otherwise, air will enter the case in every nook and cranny it can, making it almost impossible to maintain an internally dust-free environment.
Silverstone makes a USB 3.0 front panel kit (model FP32-E) that's compatible with most of their chassis. If it doesn't fit your case, you should be able to remove the two usb ports from the 3.5" panel they're mounted to and sssp your existing usb 2 ports with them. Caselabs uses this same USB3.0...
Phobya is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alphacool. The German company manufactures both product lines (in many cases Phobya parts such as radiators are virtually identical to their Alphacool counterparts, but less expensive.
Get a sheet of tempered 1/4" glass cut to the exact dimensions of your desktop, polished edges. The weight of the same sheet will keep it firmly in place but if you're extra-paranoid, put a few thin rubber pads around the perimeter to keep it from sliding around. Quite literally makes for a...
The Watercool Heatkiller IV for GTX 1080ti (http://shop.watercool.de/epages/WatercooleK.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/WatercooleK/Products/15591) is single slot. They'll be releasing a replacement single-slot PCI slot bracket any day now.
I've been using DEMCIflex filters for years and have never found any others that can come even close in terms of their performance, quality of manufacture, fit and durability. DEMCIflex is a South African company. They ship quickly (I've never had an order take more than a week to be delivered...
You might try Caselabs. If I'm not mistaken, their drive cages and Flex mounts use the same size shoulder screws. Look for the "Shock Mount Kit" in the Spare Parts section. $8.95 for (4) rubber bushings, (4) 6-32 shoulder screws, and (4) M3 shoulder screws.
The comma vs. full-stop/period is simply due to differences in notation. North Americans use a "." Where as the remainder of the world use a "," (comma) to separate the whole from the fractional. 7.55 = 7,55.
Since Noctua is an Austrian company, they use 7,63 in your example.
You should be able to. You can build, delete, rebuild the array(s), create partitions, etc. in ROM, before windows boots (or before windows is even installed, for that matter). You can also do some of these functions in windows using the Intel utility (which interfaces with the ROM firmware.)
I assume your using a P6T variant mobo with a legacy BIOS rather than UEFI. Have you tried entering Intel RAID Manager immediately after POST (I can't remember for sure, but I think you need to press CNTL-i to enter). All RAID functions on ICH10R are handled in/by the Intel Option ROM. This is...
Thunderbolt card, PCIe M.2 card (better cooling/circulation for 1TB 960 EVO than the mobo m.2 slot allows) and an extra USB3 card (I need the extra two internal 19-pin USB3 connectors).
I've ordered directly from them in the past but now usually order through Aquatuning (www.aquatuning.us). Free two-day shipping from Germany and no additional import fees. All orders from outside the EU automatically have VAT/sales taxes deducted. They mainly sell Alphacool products (they're...
I've been using Watercool blocks (CPU, GPU and mobo chipset) for over 7 years and the cooling performance has always been topnotch. Their customer service has been awesome and I've had them accomodate special requests on more than one occasion. Give them a call (they speak English). It wouldn't...
There are FITTINGS, and then there are ADAPTERS. Most commonly fittings have a male G1/4 (other sizes exist but are rarely used) thread at one end and compression(12mm, 16mm, 1/2", 5/8", etc.) at the other. Push fittings and barb fittings also exist but aren't nearly as common as they once were...
IMHO, nothing beats the aesthetics of the Watercool Heatkiller full cover GPU blocks. They're no slouches performance-wise, either. AquaComputer's Kryographics full-cover blocks are also gorgeous, albeit a bit on the pricier side.
Once Samsung releases the 7.0/7.1 ROM for your phone & region, simply download the entire ROM (https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/) to your PC and flash using Odin or Fastboot. Instructions on how to do this are widely available via Google. 'Course if you've rooted the phone, you can also flash...
The good news is that 20-amp outlets are usually dedicated, meaning there are no other outlets, lights, etc. on the same circuit. You can safely use this outlet but if you do, go to Lowe's or Home Depot and pick up a heavy gauge extension cord. A single cord long enough for the task, not...
That's not a dryer receptical. It's a 20-Amp outlet (typically intended for high-amperage appliances such as a window air conditioner, or in a garage, large air compressors or other power tools.)
I can almost guarantee that your rad (s) are harbouring TONS of crud. The most effective (and relatively simple) method of thoroughly cleaning them is using Mayhems Blitz. you can check the kit out at mayhems.co.uk . Last time I checked Performance PCS, DazMode and ModMyMods all carry the...
I'm using a 3300MHz G.Skill 64Gb 1.35V TridentZ kit (8×8Gb) without issues. Same board and CPU as you. Selected the XMS profile in BIOS and it just works. Even with all 8 slots populated I've had no issues whatsoever. I've yet to (try to) over clock it beyond that. I believe G.Skill also have...
Actually yes, but you'd lose roughly 45 to 55% of the rad's heat dissipation capability. In a "normal" rad (where both inlet & outlet are on the same side), the internal plumbing (flow path) does a U-turn on the opposite end of the radiator (where the bleed screw/port is situated), meaning the...
Who said anything about ultrabooks? I was talking about Desktop Replacement notebooks, (i.e., big, heavy, noisy fans, less than 10 mins runtime on battery) I have a Mythlogic (Clevo) 17" notebook with 2x 980M in SLI that does just fine. It's not whisper quiet whilst gaming but with cans on...
If the specs in this chart are accurate, this is pretty big news. Unless I'm reading the data incorrectly, it looks to me like high-end gaming notebooks will have GPU horsepower identical to desktop PCs with an equivalent GPU model. The mobile and "full" 1060s have identical specs and mobile...
How are you planning to include/attach the drain line? I saw no mention of any T-fittings, fillport, valves ir bulkhead fitrings in the list. Also you may need more than 12 compression fittings:
Res/pump - 3 (in, out, fill)
Rads - 4
Waterblock - 4
Sensors - 4 (in line temp fittings usually...
Don't forget Alphacool/Phobya (German) is one of the major players. Also XSPC, Koolance, Monsoon. Heatkiller is actually a line of waterblocks (the company name is Watercool.)
Personally I love their Gosumodz milled aluminium combs (I haven't seen them anywhere else). They have them in anodized red, black or natural and they come in 4, 6, 8, 12, 14, 16 and 24 hole sizes. Their revolver combs are also pretty cool (6 hole in a circular/hex pattern, like a six-shooter...
