same! Hadn't folded in a couple years, but loaded up 6 clients yesterday, unfortunately half of them are just idling now. Looks like there is more power available atm than there is demand.
My ISP just added an unlimited data cap for $5 a month. I stream everything so I was running right up to my grandfathered in 550GB Cap. so that $5 isn't much and is well worth it.
Pretty much, I'm using the D-Link DIR-890L AC3200, which is essentially the same thing, except mine looks cooler. Uses the same Broadcom Chip as the X6 and has also has 6x Antennas.
Just read the entire thread and wow, I hope they approve your request for the 980! but if not, I would consider the 970 a win., its better than the standard 780 they originially offered
Agreed!, I love Merlin Firmware on my RT-N16, I actually prefer it over Tomato or DD-WRT, maybe its only a perceived difference, but browsing the interwebz seems faster and sites seem more responsive.
yea I read that too, been using it a few days and if there is any, I haven't noticed it. I kinda like the Red LEDs in it, even though it was brighter than I expected haha.
soo next month my grandmother is moving 2 states away to Colorado, and I am preparing her a new more power efficient computer (and more compact) and I am looking for the best remote software that requires the least amount of work from her and that would allow me to log in and help/fix whatever...
that's awesome dude! I am a massive Mass Effect fan, probably more than I'm willing to admit... lol anyways I can't wait for the next one! especially since its using the Frostbite 3 Engine!
Finally got around to doing another pingtest.net test (needed to install a 32bit copy of Java)
@Opstar yea it helps when you live where Suddenlink is Headquartered, I guess it also helps when you have a friend in customer support and have direct line and email lol :D
@Crosshairs I don't...
I've heard from several friends with TW, that gaming with them sucks......
I use Suddenlink here in Tyler, TX and they did a complete $250 Million network overhaul here last year and gaming is great now, I can usually get 10ms or less pings to Dallas!
