I recently purchased the CM690. Tons of space, system runs cool. Definitely would recommend it.
Negatives... I wish the motherboard tray was removeable and I wish that it had a bit more cable management...but its not bad...that is just nitpicking.
Hmm, I did not have any issues installing the Q6600 on my P5Q Deluxe. It booted right up the first time. I used both the Intel Stock cooler and Xigmatek cooler and both worked fine.
Perhaps the motherboard is not sensing the Typhoon and therefore not allowing it to boot? Not sure what it...
Well unfortunately, I had to RMA my P5Q Deluxe because the onboard sound device not working. I hope the replacement will be rock solid and work just fine.
Everything else about the board seemed to run fine.
Well I finally got some shots of my new system. Unfortunately I am having to RMA the motherboard because of a defective sound device.
But here are a few pics of it before taking that out.
I installed the Xigmatek-S1283 last night on my machine.
However I think the Asus Probe is not reporting correctly. It is reporting my idle temp at 10 C and the motherboard temp at 30 C which just does not seem correct.
What should be a good idle temperature range?
Hi,
I have the P5Q Deluxe and I am having trouble getting any sound output from the onboard sound?
Is there something special I need to do to get it to work? I have installed the driver from the CD twice and I have downloaded the latest driver from ASUS's website to no avail.
I am using...
Well I got home and took a closer look at it. What can I say but a true testament to the quality of the product made by CoolerMaster. There was not a scratch on this thing. Looking at what it went through to get to me shows this.
Kudos to CM!
Hopefully the rest of my system will arrive...
So after much anticipation waiting for my shiny new case to arrive, I went to pick it up from my office mail room. Low and behold, what do my eyes see?....
!@#*($%^@#~!!!!!! Ooops (UPS) strikes again!
Fortunately the damage appears to be minor if any. I will take a look more closely...
