Hilarious. Is there another device on the market that has a quad core processor that isn't gimped, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a display with 95% Adobe RGB gamut? Not in this form factor nor would it be cheap either in any other form factors. i.e. HP Dreamcolor
The VAIO Z line was always targeted at a niche market back then. Performance in a small form factor and priced for professionals.
Back in 2011, what other laptop had a full fledged Intel mobile CPU (none of that slow ULV shit), 2x256GB SSDs in RAID0 (500MB/s read/write way back then), a...
Ever heard of cashback/points, extended warranty, and credit building? Debit card fraud is also more of a liability than credit card fraud, the latter of which can be dealt with in less than 24 hours.
Favourite Seasonic product? My X760. It's been a year and I've yet to hear the fan from it. The same can be said for my X660. Aside from that, that gold colour scheme is just gorgeous to look at every time.
Took it a bit too seriously there.....this entire thread is in jest. Should've questioned why there is $2 mill in a crummy savings account. Clearly it makes logical choice
For that res.....a GTX660 Ti can be had for $299. Assuming sales/MIRs, you'll be able to get them for $270ish at least. On the AMD side, you could grab a 7950, there have been a few on sale for only $260-270 after MIR. The 7950 outperforms the GTX660 definitely at that resolution and once the...
lol, don't forget the TSA who might be driving alongside you in their van by that time. They might have to do routine traffic stops all in the name of safety. But we've got nothing to hide, so why should it matter?

They started off by leaking the MSI 8800GT review early and broke the NDA they signed which resulted in nVidia excluding them from media events and being sent review sample cards.
PCI-E 3.0 on X79 is not guaranteed as an fyi. My Gigabyte board with my GTX670 for example will not run when PCI-E 3.0 is forced but there are others who can. It varies.

Depending on the airline, model, and the class you're in, it varies. Usually has TV shows/movies/camera views (i.e. tailwing), ability to hook up your USB device (watch/listen to your own stuff). It's not lame when you're on a 16...
Yup, teachers/principals here complaining about excessive costs are silenced with threats from the union/reprimanded. Teachers can voice their opinions at the cost of their job.
The school board has absurd contracts and does some asinine things quite often. An example is the installation of...
Just grabbed a 120GB Vertex 3 for $70 and two 120GB Agility 3 drives for $55. Already have a 240GB Sandisk Extremely drive incoming as well. Definitely at much more affordable prices than 3 months ago.
So what you're insinuating with your post is that the many posters in this thread are attempting to take advantage of newegg because most [H] members are inept at installing CPUs....and the possibility of newegg taking advantage of customers is essentially zilch.
Lazy to enter my pin or sign especially when buying things <$50 such as coffee when I can just simply expedite the process. And it matters not to me if they do steal my card...it's not as if I'll be forced to pay for the charges and I get a replacement card expedited for next day delivery. Minor...
gah, no edit and pressed enter too soon.
Add to that the lackluster announcements of sequels and prequels, regurgitation of the same game announcements/"previews" between Sony/EA/Ubisoft/Microsoft. And considering Nintendo is up next, why wouldn't Sony or MS steal the attention from Nintendo by...

Here's an older score on an older driver:

Buying Palit is like buying Visiontek/Diamond/HIS. Shoddy support if you manage to contact them. Aside from that, a number of us prefer non-reference cards.
Gotta manually do it. Or opt for a splitter setup. Mine is:
Titanium HD -> RCA to 3.5mm out -> 2x3.5mm splitter -> Speakers and desktop amp. I just turn off my speakers when I want to use headphones, and turn off my amp when I want to use speakers.
lol....nVidia drivers are the problem? Must be the endless threads in the nVidia forum regarding problems with the 600 series (aside from the V-Sync issue...but at least it's been confirmed and is being fixed.). Good to know AMD's 7XXX don't suffer from any driver issues at all.

Avoid PNY....their "lifetime" warranty is the "lifetime of the card on the shelf". Could be one or maybe two. A GTX470 released in 2010 is certainly out of warranty by now.

We need a sticky for users to report their RMA experience with a template. We've seen a fair share of crap vendors on here. Although, I think Diamond takes the cake with their limit of one RMA ever for a particular card and taking up to 4 months to respond to a message (lol, out of warranty...
You are wrong, let me reiterate that the extra bandwidth is worth it. You might say it does not matter. Games which struggle to hit 50 fps at 1600p like BF3, Crysis 2, Alan Wake, Witcher 2, Shogun 2 , Batman AC are more relevant than a Portal 2 or Mass effect 3 which even a USD 200 card like GTX...
