Ahh, its been a long time since I played the original I didn't even remember about checkpoints.
now if they just threw in an option to skip the sewer level :)
Picked it up also. My only problems right now are
1. the music is super loud. its like the slider does nothing.
2. How in the world do you save your game mid mission?
This game was really amazing for its day and it still holds up mostly now.
I need to try this. this game is what solidified my PC gaming master race. First game I ever played 3d accelerated. Got the game and a 4mb Rage Pro video card for a birthday. that sweet 800x600 or 640x480 ( whatever it was) was glorious and there was no turning back.
I must be old but I absolutely loath these new flashy interfaces. The current control panel does what it needs to do, without fluff, stuff is easy to find. Modern UIs always seem like they bury things under an obscene amount of clicks for no reason. Its like trying to use a mobile website. Turn...
I pretty much stopped playing back in late Nov. I seriously just can't deal with CVs and how their planes spot everything. Impossible to make moves or play to your ship's strengths when all it takes is a plane 7km away to spot you. Rounds where there is not a CV (or hybrid) are extremely fun but...
many year bump.....
I bought this the other day and I'm actually having fun with it. It has not crashed on my once. My only major complain is the super short draw distance for high poly models and stuff. Lots of pop-in as well.
It has silly quirks but oh well. Weird stuff like people chasing...
Started playing We happy few.
So far i kind of like it. It has some weird kind of whhy would you do that design ideas. The biggest issue with it is the muddy graphics and the absolutely atrocious popin...i mean watch objects go from low poly to high poly when you are 3 feet away.
I have so many things open usually I need the tiers. I want the text not just the icon, I don't want grouped items either. I also have other shortcuts in the task bar to other things like drives and what not.
I don't think its the formula that is stale, its the way the game is presented which makes it stale. Nothing stands out because its just a vast empty places. All the planets are lifeless, nothing is memorable. Even down to there being nothing but human people everywhere. If you look back at...
I have been using MIcrosoft intellimouse opticals since forever. have a stock pile of them cause I'm a south paw.
I'm trying out a a Corsair M55 RGB right now and I'm confused at what high DPI actually does other than seemingly jack up the mouse sensitivity? I am using the mouse on the lowest...
Yea, in like 21 years of using Paypal I have never lost a dispute no matter which side I was on. I upload every piece of documentation, as much as possible, overwhelm them with it, call them and work it out. If you just use the online stuff, they will never side with you usually because some...
yea, I wonder what the full settlement details are but we will never know.
the "expert" wasn't going to help the case if it actually went to trial. aging hardware, sure, but the same exact problem many years apart of different arcade cabinets, yea nope.
I do wish in some alternate universe...
not just ads, its popups for other stuff as well, discounts, mailing lists. I was on some site yesterday and there were 4 non-ad popups before I could even look at the site.
poo, no new intellimouse optical. would love an updated one that looks and feels just like the old ones but with better DPI.
Still have stock pile of them because its the only mouse I can use being lefty that fits my hand perfectly. think i've been using them since like 2001ish maybe?
This should have been a call to ebay. They will usually side with you on thiss kind of stuff if you have the photos and actually dispute and call them. I don't know how easy that is to do anymore since the PP/Ebay split.
this is why we just sign up for something when we can binge watch and then cancel. So we may have a service for a month and watch a bunch of stuff then cancel it, then maybe 6 months later do it again.
With Cyberpunk, yes. A full reinstall of the game seemed to fix it but I still similar issues with some other games but not like Cyberpunk where entire things were just not there, more like geometry popping in or scaling up, other assets come and go. I see it in Mechwarrior online, Enlisted...
