I just bought this Monster ScreenClean LCD Display Cleaner 2 Bottle Screen Clean Mini Package (MPC CLNKIT-SM) to use it with the NEC 2690 LCD . Is it safe to use it to clean the screen?

I had this lcd. the lag of switching from different resolutions almost like 3 to 4sec. but 5+ that's odd. anyway.you have nothing to do about it. it's typical for this lcd.

yes. the dark tone looks like washed out with L*. i realized it with dark movies, is there's something wrong with the calibration or that's it!

Yeah, I can see it if i use the regular photoview program instead of seeing it inside the browser. i think it's no way this is a Feature! I have SV 2690 btw.

thanks mlewis for this great information. I can get Spectraview II software by my friends in usa, but is it sure will work or just a gamble? i have to buy also a suitable colourimeter with Spectraview II to make the thing work. So.. the last things to make everything clear to me...

If you check the specifications tab, you'll find this : Cabinet Color : Black High Glossy the screen coating is normal, non-Glossy.
