How about the board/cpu/ram only? I have all of the equipment to read/write the bios chip and am really curious what is wrong with it lol.

I'd be interested in just the board to try to pull the bios chip and reflash or replace it. Not sure if you would consider that, but I am open to it if it's cheap enough.

Around 9 years old. It was used with the motherboard/cpu combo in my OP in an office setup for 3-4 years and then sat until I used it the last year with that same setup as a testbed for a NAS but got a Qnap instead. It has 3 x PCIe 6+2 cables and each of those has two connectors on it.

There is a way to dump the temp sensor from linux cli, but I can't find it in my bookmarks. The driver will report an overheat condition, but by then, it's too late and you have to power cycle to fix it. I never found a way in windows, but it may be possible.

I wasn't expecting an upgrade at all. If anything, maybe an email with choices/options vs just sending me a card that wont fit in my computer.

My current card is listed at 11.8"(300mm) and the FE 3080 is listed at 11.2"(285mm) which is what I am aiming to get. EVGA lists their 3080 FTW3 as 11.81"(300mm). I have a vertical mount slot in my Fractal Define R6 so it seems I am hopefully in the clear.
