Sorry, can't see that. What i see is that a gamerscard cannot keep up with a workstationcard with professional software.
Where are the game FPS numbers ?
Hmm, i am curious about point 4. I have seen a review that disputes the statement the Z68 have better sata performance:
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/motherboards/2011/07/14/gigabyte-ga-z68a-d3h-b3-review/5
P67 with sata-3 SSD wins here, handsdown.
So?
Vsync ON is better most of the time, if not always. Also USE triple buffering, those two i always use.
Texuspete is right on the money on this. The only reason turning it off would be if your FPS is verly low, well below 30. But then i would say, lower your fancy settings to make it run faster...
oh Yes. I have a HX620, with 8 hdd's, 1 SSD, soundcard, GTX480 and 9 casefans + watercooling setup, cpu I7 [email protected] on a Asus X58 motherboard. It runs like a rock.
The option to go for 2560x1600 is only valid if you have the monitor to do so :p
When you are stuck with 1920x1200, for whatever reason all those 2560 numbers do mean nothing, zilch. Unless you are planning to buy such monitor and/or considering a multi-monitor setup.
Am i speaking german

Tell me that it isn't what i think it is, really. Enlight me :D
Never mind, i got better things to do. Have a nice day :)

I think i don't know what it is you are trying to tell me. I mean making more of something then it deserves; like recommending a little more PSU then is actually needed.
Do you really want me to answer that ?
Wikipedia:
Overload protection is important to protect the electronic equipment...
I do know hwat i am talking about, only have a hard time explaining myself while english is not my native language. Excuse me.
Allright. I have mistaken how you do review a PSU. That does not mean i can't know what
a system demands, when you know the efficiency of a PSU, anyone can do the...
Wel thanks. If i still don't know what i am talking about, surely you or silentpcreview, who also use very good equipment to measure these things; have done something wrong
Your point is just a scorrect as mine is. If you can't see that, well....
[qoute[...
Good for you.
You are mistaken.
Really?
Which inaccurate equipment, yours ?
I'll take "my numbers" from the internet, Slientpcreview, Hardocp and other psu review sites.
And yes, i take "recommendations" about the need for a very powerfull PSU from HardOCP, Guru3D and others with "a...
It's a shame Hardocp encourage people to buy such systems. Is it really neccecary to devote a
whole review on this matter. It's already bad enough these GPU's consume so much energy :(
Futhermore, the wattage is measured "at the wall", right ? So the actual wattage deliverd bij the PSU is...
While i do agree with Kyle that Eyefinity or any other multi-monitor resolution should not be blocked, i also can understand the idea behind it.
My answer to this issue:
Create online groups, based on resolution. So you can pick your competative fight by yourself and if you choose to fight...
Nice card and nice review like always. There's only one thing that seems utterly silly to me and don't make sence. Aldo i know the benchmark procedure here at HardOCP well and can appriciate it, it's just so weird to see 2560x1600 results with this kind of videocards. As someone thinks: hey, i...
Which is a shame, because that are numbers that matter. Just like 1680x1050 matters, simply because those are the two most populair screen resolutions at this moment.
No, this is a invalid conclusion. What you see is a relative performancehit; a performancehit that doesn't occur in "real...
Can you explain why the Intel'sP55single harddisk sata II performance is better then the Jmicron ?
Two out of three are a win for the Jmicron, so i am confused
Really ? i wonder why. They seem to have used less cooling material, which makes it cheaper to build. They used solid state caps for the secondary caps, which are more expensive indeed. But not so expensive to say that it couldn't be used in a lower priced unit. Look at the motherboard market...
Agreed. Point of all this isn't which one is better, that's easy. The Core i7 is the best.
Point is, what's the best deal for you! That'is also why my opinion differs from that of Kyle.
He believes buying anything else but a quadcore, is not a very good idea. I think it is.
Some (alot?)...
The E8600/8700 are not very good buy's, the E8400 is the best if you look at the price/performance. They oc well too. Buy a quadcore if you think you are really need one. For gaming, i think it's not a very good investment; atleast for while. When we are going to see huge differences or...
Nice review, but i simply don't agree with some conclusions. I have recently upgraded from a E8400@4Ghz to a Core i/7 [email protected] setup an i don't notice any huge advantages in gameplay experience.
Even at GTA IV! While i was running this game with 100 view distance and everything else maxed out...
The excuse that it takes more time to test is invalid in my opinion; to conduct a proper, real-life test you do it the way it should be done. Not the fastest way, just because it's faster and easier to do.
As long as everything is tested in open air, the test results are only valid for the...
The only problem i have with it is that these are all "open air" results. Nothing "real world" about it, is it?
Normally people have their stuff in a case. Now, i know there are alot of cases out there, with bad to great airflow capabilities. So you pick a case and explain it's performace, so...
Aldo i understand the purpose of this article, i do think it is a poor choice. Also i see some real foolish statements in the article, which makes me wonder: is this article written by someone with the knowledge of OS and Hardware ?

And..
Now, doesn't that sound silly ? It does...
The problem with the bios is, that it shows different value's. It have nothing to do with DDR2 specificly and/or how dualchannel works, that's a whole different story.
It all comes down to SDR (singe data rate), DDR (double data rate) and QDR (quad(pumped) data rate).
The memory speed shown...
Despite the limitations of this review there's one thing we all can agree on;
-High-priced OC version's cripples the price/performance rating.
-There's no significant gameplay advantage with a OC version.
You say impossible, i say; i don't know.
But i do see something else!
1) the scaling is more like +90% on average, unlike the 95% you mentioned.
2) ATI claims 100/175/275/325% performance increases with Crossfire X
3) the 100% + scores only occur when AA en AF are enabled, makes me...
