I went the 3x 3GB GTX580 route. I've been playing the beta at 2560x1600 and I've seen my VRAM go a little over 2GB with everything on ultra. From what I've heard some of the ultra settings aren't even working in the beta, so it could go up even more.

yep, they are also "PCI slot covers" too. I actually did this on my p182. I noticed my old video card was pulling in a lot of dust through the slots because the fan was so close to the slot covers (zotac gtx 480 extreme). the slot covers helped, and i don't think the temps were that much...

I think the image link he posted was of a galaxy razor gtx 260 which had tri sli support. I imagine that these cards will just have one finger that cant be seen from the images on newegg.
