My pictures of the Cooler Master 690 (the new $50 uber-case!)

I believe it will. One thing to note is, you might have a hard time getting the side panel to fit properly with the S1 and the stock fan that came mounted to the side panel. My 7900GS has the S1 mounted and the side panel fan hits the top of the cooler...I can still mount the panel, but it bows...

Help getting to 2.8 stable at least, anyone?

Not a lot to work with...I cant see memory timings, but I will say that your vcore might be a little low to get what you want. I have my 3200+(2ghz) at 2.6Ghz right now, perfectly stable so far as I've seen, but I had to raise Vcore to 1.65Volts to do it. Less than 1.625 it wont even boot. At...

Overclock stable but Vcore stuck at 1.63V???

I just wanted to thank everyone for not replying to this post just to tell me that I had already answered my own dumb question....but for anyone that doesnt know, the "enable vcore overvolt" option for the A8n32-SLI board simply adds 200 milivolts to whatever voltage you select for the fsb. I...

Review: Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 on 8800GT (dialup beware!)

From what I understand, the Rev. 02 is supposed to come with a somewhat flexible mounting system that is intended to help ensure that the heatsink is mounted completely flat against the GPU. When you try to install the Rev. 01, you'll understand how difficult this can be. Each screw turn causes...

Overclock stable but Vcore stuck at 1.63V???

Just trying to get the most from what I have here....it seems to be running well, but my vore is higher than Id like. I have an Asus A8n32-SLI Deluxe with a Winchester 3200+ (currently at 2600Mhz) and 2 gigs PC2700 ram (old, I know) In the bios, I have the overvolt CPU vcore option set to...

    Coolermaster GeminII cooling fan question

I use a pair of 3 pin 120mm fans on my Gemini II. I wired them together, but only use the tach wire from one fan. The A8N32-SLI deluxe supports up to 18 watts or more on one header, so Im fine running multiple fans per header.

Does the S1 come with ramsinks?

Yes it does come with ramsinks. Also comes with voltage regulator heatsinks and a heatspreader for some ATI card. Mine works awesome on my 7900GS Extreme. it will fit on the 8800 too.

    600-watt Ultra X-Finity any good?

I have a 500 Watt Ultra X-finity and it doesnt look like that inside. I wonder what theyve got going on over there. At any rate, I love mine. The cables really smell funky when its new, but that goes away after a while. Other than that, its a good heavy, solid supply.

Best Air cooler ? and why round?

I have the Gemini II with 2 120MM fans installed and my temps havent risen more than 10 degrees C from Idle to full load. Idle currently at 29-32C and the max temp Ive had so far is 40C after an hour of running Crysis. I know this isnt the best way to load a CPU, but with my previous cooler the...

GUIDE: Air-cooling for CPUs, GPUs, and just about everyone of you

After battling heat problems for some time, I decided to replace my case with a new Cooler Master RC690, installed a Cooler Master Gemini II heatsink on my dated CPU and also installed a new Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 on my XFX 7900 GS Extreme. Now, these are big heatsinks, but I dont have any...

    To upgrade or not?

Sorry if this is a repeated question for you all.... My question is whether or not upgrading my ram would be of benefit to me. Currently, my system consists of an Asus A8N32-SLI deluxe mobo with a 939 Athlon 64 3200+ processor, running WinXP pro. The vid card is an XFX 7900GS and my...
