I have used one of those XSPC pump/res combos already and it was quite silent, but I am going to also going to put together a setup using an separate internal res and pump like you said and weigh the options then.
Thanks!
Nice, thanks. I have been looking around and this seems to be the consensus.
I thought the 2600k would be ok since it doesn't produce much heat itself. Since a dual loop isn't required the budget for the other wc parts just went up a bit. :)
Hey [H]ardpeople. It's been a while but I am kinda stuck on a watercooling build I am planning out right now and I would really appreciate some assistance.
Hardware lowdown:
CPU: i7 2600k
Viddeo cards: 2x EVGA 570GTX in SLI
Case: AZZA Hurrican 2000
Motherboard: Asus maximus Extreme-Z

To tell the truth, it was because of the downtime they had a couple of months back that made me start going to another forum. Now it's kinda where I call home instead of [H].
That and the damn ads that pop up when you are trying to read. They sold out to the max. Do they really think a word like...
Check out the Vantec Stingray wc kit. I keep a healthy overclock with tons of room to spare in the temp department.Here.
I've never had a problem with mine.
He does have a ton of room left on his hard drive and I already disabled or uninstalled any stupid Dell Help software or support garbage they put in there. Maybe I'll go over there and do the safe-mode thing. Do you think there may be a better way to see how fast it's running by some sort of...
Yeah, I took out about 18 pieces of spyware and a lot of the bloatware that normally comes with a Dell. I used my own paid subscription to SpySweeper for it so I know it's clean on that front. I managed his startup and cleaned his registry using my registered RegCure and it still starts out...
I was at a friends house today because his computer began running super slow a while back and after doing all the basic stuff like deleting cookies, defrag, registry cleaning, spyware removal, it was still slow as hell.
he has a Dell (First problem) 9100.
Here are the specs:
CPU: Pentium D...
I use Spysweeper anti-virus and anti-spyware. I have never been let down yet. I heard all great things about AVG though, and if I ever need to buy av software again, I'll probably try that first because it's free.
Good point. If they are so holier-than-thou then what's thier problem with being taped doing thier jobs? Unless of course they were in the wrong for stopping the guy in the first place. It's not tlike the guy taped the FBI plotting strategy against some mob figure. I mean what's to hide?
My heart is racing just looking at these screenshots. I'm not joking. This is the kind of game that makes men neglect thier jobs and families!!!!!
As long as your vid card can handle it- get Battlefield 2142.
The graphics all set to highest quality makes CSS look like a bunch of 2-dimensional images stuck together on the ends. Definitely more depth than any fps I've ever played and the learning curve isn't as steep as CS. If you got any...
Domo, I'm with you. The hell with it. What's the worst that could happen? I may have some obscure component or program that still needs a driver to run? Like you said, this is a community of computer geeks- we LOVE overcoming obstacles with our hardware and software because if we didn't we would...
I had the vantec nexus and to tell you the truth, it makes just about no difference at all between the highest speed and the lowest. Not to mention that the second (it has 4) 3-pin jack stopped working after 2 weeks. I've never used any other fan controller so I can't suggest one, but DO NOT buy...
Stinking Yahoo! search engines never pulled that up after trying 10 different ways.
Thanks bro. I think I'll order a batch of them so I'll have them.
I recently had to scrap my a8n32-sli deluxe for the Dfi nf4 Ultra-D. the Asus came out of the box with pci-e slot #1 dead. I was able to use slot #2 for a while because they are both 16x, but that one burned out as well after only 3 1/2 months. I'm not bashing the Asus by any means though. I was...
Has anyone ever seen a 3" to 6" sata cable? It seems so stupid that almost every single sata hd I've ever seen is right next to the sata ports on people's mobos, sometimes within an inch or two, but the shortest I've ever seen a sata cable was 12 inches. What gives? I've seen countless sata...
I know no one can decide if it's right for me, it's just that I'm torn right now.
I think I know what to do- I'll get myself imbedded in another project that will take up all my time and resources for awhile, this way I won't be inclined to dive into it just yet.
The same thing happens all...
I have been waiting for Vista to come of age with thier drivers, but considering I have a pretty new build and I haven't installed tons of hardware or software yet, I'm thinking it may be the perfect time for an upgrade.
I've read up on all the problems and they seem to be almost entirely...
2 separate BSOD's in the same day. The first stemming from an improperly overclocked RAM and the other from a faulty hd. I just got my main rig running perfectly smooth and stable with all my programs installed and even the desktop the way I like it when I just had to push the envelope a little...
DC Optimizer helped smooth out BF2142 for me a bit. You dl it from the amd website.

I fold for Overclock.net
I fold because I never want my daughter to hear the most horrible words ever spoken to me.
"You have Multiple Sclerosis." (Diagnosed 9/06)
You are so lucky! Maybe someday I'll have the chance, but I would have to take my mother- she's heavy involved with the Ladies Antient Order of Hibernians.
Makes me proud to be Irish!
So how do I change my name? I couldn't find anything in the user control panel. I don't want to be known as some braindead stoner, it's just a gaming handle I've had forever so I use it as my alias.
