The question was indeed based on an all-Intel build utilizing ARC.
Thank you for all of the input. I'll be building this over the next couple of weeks and will post progress.
Anyone currently using an Intel card in a Linux build? I’ve heard they are very Linux friendly and am putting together a new build as a secondary machine. Was thinking about going with an all Intel machine. Wondering how others have fared here.
So much press around GPUs these days. I've added a 6950xt to cart multiple times in the last few weeks. For no other reason than the prices have dropped and I feel an unnecessary upgrade itch.
I'm still happy with my 6700xt. I'm not a serious enough gamer to upgrade.
Posting here to keep...
Mine arrived. Contents below.
Radeon HD 7950 - I've been on a vintage GPU kick lately, so this one is actually a pretty cool get.
VisionTek VT4000 4k Dual Monitor Dock - Not sure I have a need for this as I have a work provided dock. Verdict is out here.
2 x Data Vault Stackable Drive...
Holding pattern here. If I can grab a 7900 XTX at launch for MSRP, I will be happy to do so. If not, a 6900 XT for under $700 or... hanging onto my 6700 XT are not bad plans b/c.
I've been patiently waiting for a decent deal on the $349 price of a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Keyboard cover. Even the $279 price using my employee benefit pricing was too steep.
Best Buy has it for $174.99 today.
Still can't believe it's even this expensive, but... I want it.
Fellow sucker over here. Did one of each after shrugging my shoulders on "what's $15 more to run the table?" after carting a $50 and $20. Will temper expectations as advised. And of course share the story upon arrival.
