Just got my 256mb xfx 8800gt, it took a bit of messing around to get it to boot, cmos, battery etc. but now up and running. i ordered the 600/1400 version. but for some reason they sent the 600/1600 alpha dog. Not complaining tho! Installed the drivers that are supplied and ran 3d mark...

i have not had a intel chip since my 286. and have always got AMD, Cyrix etc. and for the last 8 years only AMD. But why did AMD say that Barcelona would beat clovertown by 40% in FPU apps when they clearly knew the performance of both chips?
