Only got L4D2 and Civ IV Complete. Some deals were good, but most of the stuff that I wanted I already had it or was expecting lower prices, and I can wait on those.
Didn't feel quite as great as last huge sales, but I suppose that's better for me, so I don't spend that much money!
Pretty tempting!

15 for the download, 20 for the download and the boxed release.
They are also selling Tropic reloaded for $7.49, but meh.

I'm a bit surprised no one has mentioned Ben There, Dan That and Time Gentlemen, Please, both incredibly fun (and funny) point and click games that will basically run on any compute.
You can download the first one from Zombie Cow Studios homepage for free, or get both of them for $5 on Steam...
Well, I found this to be quite a nice deal:

25 bucks for 7 games, included Project Aftermath, Aquaria, And Yet It Moves, Acceleration of Suguri, Aaaaa!: A Reckless Disregard for Gravity and Crayon Physics...
Haven't had any kind of problems with Steam on XP, but I keep up to date with the updates.
I suppose the amount of client updates have been because of the recent Steamworks games. Hmm.
Quite a good deal. I'd buy it if I didn't have it on the 360 :o
Wonder if they'll put up some more items on sale for this weekend, like they did last weekend. Hmmm.
Just a bunch of games:
Audiosurf
Civilization III
Mevo and the Grooveriders
Morrowind GOTY
Outrun 2006 SP
Penumbra: Overture
Star Wars: Dark Forces
Torchlight
I don't keep the games in my machine, that's why I get most of my games from digital retailers :D
I like D2D. It's not as good and easy as Steam, but it seems to be improving. Comrade is a nice addition, but you can't download all of your d2d games from it :/
I'm really having a blast with Torchlight. Sure, it's a Diablo clone, but a great one at that! Haven't had this much fun with an isometric dungeon crawler since the original Diablo :D
And for 18, it was a steal.
Also, as a recovering WoW fanboy, I'm not sure if this is actually helping :P
I've been thinking exactly the same. Thought about getting Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, but it doesn't really have all the vibe from Undying.

Some nice treats, I guess. FarCry 2, Vampire Bloodlines, Bioshock, Damnation, Dead Space, The Path, The Witcher, Stubbs the Zombie, Cold Fear and Downfall all have been slashed. Too bad most of them are not available worldwide :/
Well, the guy's not saying Steam has made any disservice to the users, and he'd be crazy to do it. I myself love Steam and use it way more than D2D and GOG, because I think they are trustworthy, fast and have tons of stuff for me to get. I think it's their deals that keep me coming back for...
Man, the war titles have no appeal to me. I was holding up on getting Mount & Blade, but figured that it was worth it in the end. No luck with Civilization IV so far as it's region restricted, and I'm still willing and eager to trade for another 5 bucks title available worldwide, if anyone's...
It's ok. The interface may not be nice enough like Steam, but it works. It's still a bit messy because you need this downloader to install stuff on your hard drive after you have requested the download on their site, but other than that, they are ok. Big catalog and ok prices.
Did you check the region restrictions?
By the way, is anyone willing to trade a game for another? I haven't been able to get Civilization 4 so far and the promotion is almost over :/
This week was of no interest to me either. I already picked World of Goo on Steam, and most of the games I've bought on D2D are ones that I can't get on Steam for the same price (Bioshock, for instance, was an instant buy for me, as it's not region locked like it is on Steam).
Great deal!
I didn't end up buying Far Cry 2 because I was pretty meh about it, but this deal is quite something!
Biting as soon as I get home.
Edit: Isn't this the weekend deal? I don't think the offering's gonna end today :D
Bought it as well. Haven't had time to try it though, but I'm guessing it's close to The Graveyard in terms of experience, but with a different take on narration, which seems great!
Meh. I was kind of excited about the daily Ubisoft deal, but it hasn't really been cool for my tastes (nor my pocket, I guess). I'm not getting this one either :/
Still, 50% off is a nice cut.
