I find the banding to be almost undetectable on the 245WP , banding was far worse on the TN panel for the 226wa and wt. There is very very very slight ghosting issues on very fast moving objects in games but other than that it seems to be a far superior panel than any TN i've seen so far. Also...

I don't believe this monitor has forte manager. The coating on it isn't that bad and is only noticeable from certain angles and if light sources are on a bad angle and shining directly on the screen.

I originally bought the lg 226wt and enjoyed it but had to ship it back to ncix due to about 4 or 5 dead pixels. The lg226wa went on sale at futureushop so I went and picked one of those bad boys up. It was ok but the images just werent as good as the wt and i got tired of the narrow viewing...
