I love my iPhone, no complaints. I would like the ability to use all of the functions landscape. Not just internet, music and video. That can easily be changed with a firmware update.

From reading here it seems Dell is pretty generous when it comes to dead pixels. I would return it even though it's a hassle.

I'm not sure how to check the back lighting. Sorry to hear about the dead pixel. Did you try rubbing it out? Use a soft cloth and lightly massage the area where the pixel is stuck. That sometimes works. If that doesn't work call Dell and insist they exchange it. Specially if it's noticeable.

First thing turn the brightness down. I have mine set to 30.

With your computer, leave it set to 1900 x 1200. If you connect a Xbox or other device that outputs 1080p the 1:1 pixel map option will be available.

No shit! I just looked at mine. I do not have constrast adjustment. Only brightness. I have a rev 04.

How did you get it for $566? Stackable coupons?

I haven't seen anything like that with my rev 04. I am using it with a Mac.

I think he means push it gentle more towards the left. (Over rotate) Don't force it and damage the hinge. Try it and it should give a little to the left.

Mine does not have this problem. I guess I'm lucky. Again, you should return it. Posting here about it will not make it go away. If everyone who has the issue returns their "defective" display Dell will fix the problem in production.

Yes, I'm being a smart ass because it seems you're making an issue out of nothing. If you can't adjust your monitor correctly using your hands then return it. I don't how this is so difficult. In the time it takes for someone to pull out a ruler, snap photos and post them on the internet a call...

Umm... put your left hand on the left side and your right hand on the right side and adjust it. It's not that difficult. It works on my 2407 rev 04. :eek: I have a feeling some of you are never happy. :p

The monitor swivels and rotates. Just adjust it. :rolleyes:

I paid $600 total for my 2407 Rev 04. :)

The 2407 could not support 1080p over component with my PS3. It would only set to 1080i. I could do 1080p on other connections. (DVI, VGA)

I cannot do 1080p on component. But I thought that is because component doesn't have the bandwith for 1080p. ??

Get the Dell and use the $225 towards something shinny with lots of button. :D

I was considering the 27" and 30" as well but I think that would have been over kill. I plan on buying a Tivo series 3 in the next few weeks so the money saved getting the 24" will go towards that. I'll hold on to the Dell coupons and see what the reviews look like for the 24-HC when it comes...
