Medium Says You're Using Your Mouse Wrong

Article is wrong about the mouse, but as a former CAD tech, I can tell you that numpad on the left is the way to go. Mousing and entering dimensions at the same time is a huge time saver, and the arrangement results in the mouse being a more comfortable distance away. Tenkeyless+USB numpad ftw.

This Is How Oculus Will Sell VR To The Masses

This is the most elaborate hoax ever. Talk of a pre-order, which still isn't live, and a 1Q16 release...well that's right around the corner. Not giving them a dime till there are boxes on the shelves.

How Screen Size Preferences Have Changed Through The Years

Some of us actually need our phones to function as phones for more than 24 hours at a time, so smaller screens and longer battery life are nice. Z3 Compact is currently my favorite both in size and battery life.

Sony Testing A 'Stripped Back' Version Of Android

I get the impression the 'bloat' posters don't actually own a Sony device. The stock rom is fast, usable, and I regularly get 4 days without having to charge. You can whine about 'bloat' all you want. The phone comes with some Sony apps. If you don't like them, don't use them. They sure...

Sony Testing A 'Stripped Back' Version Of Android

Looks more like making 5.x look like 4.4, which is just fine in my books. Love 4.4 on my Z3c, hate 5.1 on my Nexus.

How Much Does Security Software Slow Down Your PC?

I checked out the performance results and the real-world protection results...Bitdefender was near the top in both. Gave it the 30 day trial, then tossed them a few bucks for the 3 computer/2 year subscription...been very happy with it. Very much set and forget, no annoying popups everytime...

Teen Charged In 'Heartbleed' Attack On Tax Agency

You are...*buuuut* there are so many laws and regulations, none of which were written by anyone with functioning brain cells. There are 3 classes of firearms up here...unrestricted (most long guns), restricted (handguns with barrels over 4.1 inches and a smattering of arbitrarily selected...

Teen Charged In 'Heartbleed' Attack On Tax Agency

That image of the RCMP is a long way from the corrupt bunch of thugs and thieves that they are now. Ask the people of High River whose homes were broken into and whose property was stolen. Ask the 13,000 Canadians that will become felons if they don't surrender their previously legal...

HP Slate Killed? Rumor Mill Says 'Yes'

I don't see where it says the slate is canned...just that it won't be running Win7. WebOS or Android from the looks of it.
