NEC 20WGX2 Pro happy owners - do you happily own hot/dead/stuck pixels as well?...

Mine is perfect! Also, the opticlear DOES attract a lot of dust and on white backgrounds they have a "rainbow" like appearance, but I always keep a microfibre cloth handy to wipe them away. Quite frequently. Maybe I have OCD when it comes to this, or it's really just Opti Clear Disorder.

    The Official HP w2207/w2007 Thread

Oh, i know it would definitely be better. The NEC i'm looking at is $399 OEM..but i'm still debating if i REALLY need that much of a better screen, or just get a brand new, cheaper, bigger screen that most people are happy with. For now i'm leaning towards NEC. Since it would be something...

    The Official HP w2207/w2007 Thread

i'm still really torn between this and the NEC 20WMGX2. I think i'm gonna pick one up at circuit city and play with it for the 14 days. Does anyone know if the 15% restocking fee is in effect if I do this?

    HP w2207 vs. Samsung 226bw

Do you have any test shots side by side? I know it's a TN vs AS-IPS, but color dithering aside...how do the colors compare to one another? What about text visibility / sharpness / contrast / etc? I'd imagine with a smaller dot pitch, the NEC would be noticeably sharper, or do you have to...

    The Official HP w2207/w2007 Thread

Definitely considering picking this one up. Right now i'm torn between this, the Dell 2007wfp, or the NEC 20WMGX2 ($399 oem). All of them for roughly the same price. 22" is a GREAT size, so it's a compromise between size or picture/color quality. Ohhh, the consumer-whore woes.

    Samsung 226BW 22": 3000:1 Contrast, 2ms response time

I'm wondering, is this typically how TN panels compare to S-IPS? That's a pretty dramatic difference. After seeing this, i'm leaning more towards the 2007WFP. I'm not heavy into color intensive editing (just minor photo editing on photoshop), but the difference shown here says a lot about...

Best LCD for color / black richness?

Just to clarify, if you order directly from Dell and request the A04 revision, they will comply without problems AND you will get the S-IPS 99% of the time?

    Samsung 226BW 22": 3000:1 Contrast, 2ms response time

Went through the whole thread and didn't see the answer; Will the 225BW fit on the 226BW? I'd REALLY like height adjustability. I'll probably end up buying one of these for use on my laptop through VGA (I know, no DVI until I upgrade..) One other person commented that he wasn't able to...
