Have there been any revisions of the 27"
I suspect not. If so, when do they traditionally come out? Any ideas, or projections of when the next revision will come out based on other dell monitors?
Maybe is doesn't need one?
Sorry about another dell 2407HC post but I got one question.
Does it have HDMI?
Maybe I am reading with wrong but it seems to have it:

Now I know the 2707 has its own thread but I am a noob and can't find it.
Anyway, I just want to clarify, because there seem to be conflicting reports, is the PS3 and Xbox 360 good on the Dell 27"?
Could all of you 27" owners report on this issue please I would very much appreciate it...
Couple of questions.
What connection do you use between the PS3 and the 2707?
Also, some reports are that the xbox 360 doesn't look good on the 2707 but you reckon it looks fine?
Cheers
I am considering buying a new computer system in the next few (maybe several months given money situation) and am considering a Dell 27" or dual 22" Sammy 226BW (probably 'C' panel)
The computer would most be used for desktop use, movies and games (in that order)
If you could choose what...
Does any 2707 owner use it with a MacBook Pro? If so, how taxing is the resolution of the performance and does it connect easily? I guess I am just looking for general thoughts on using this display with an apple laptop.
Wow. I am now totally convinced to buy the 2707 :)
Just now got to wait for the price drop :(
Question for people with the 2707: what type of warranty protection cover plan did you use?
Cheers
Thanks for those replies!
I do use a MAC so the text should pretty cool! Well I guess I'll wait for a bit for price drop then pull the trigger on the 2707!
Cheers
Thanks for your responses!!
I think I will wait out a month or so and see the price changes and if Apple do bring out anything.
I think I am leaning towards the 2707. Let you know soon.
Cheers.
Yeah I hope it does!
Also, I believe Apple will be upgrading their ACD range soon, so I might see what they offer as well. At worst it will at least perhaps drop the price of the Dell range.
Cheers for info guys,
I personally was starting to lean towards the 2707, and it does indeed look very cool and sleek.
I am going to wait a couple for weeks and when I decide i'll let you guys know!
Please keep the opinions coming!
Thanks.
Fair Enough,
But I have read reviews on here which think the 2560x1600 is too high for pretty much most computers and games and is bad for movies.
Also, in Australia the price difference between a 27" and 30" is the one grand!!
24" 1,099
27" 1,599
30" 2,599 (usually a bit lower)...
Hi,
Just wondering on what people think: currently, the price difference in Australia between the 24" and the 27" is $500 AUD.
Is an extra 3" worth an extra $500?
My monitor will be primarily used for watching movies, word processing, internet browsing and the occasional gaming (WoW)...
Hey mate,
I am from australia and the only place I found which can send it here (newegg doesn't ship it) is techonweb. I have ordered but not recieved it yet and I will keep international people posted.
Cheers
Hi,
Does anyone know of a dead pixel tester like Bad Pixel Buddy for Mac?
I have ordered a Westy 37 and would love to check it's pixels on my MacBook Pro.
Cheers
Well, I have been watching this forum for ages and I finally pulled the trigger. I ordered from techonweb for $USD 1,387.29 which includes shipping it over to me in Perth, Western Australia,
Now the wait begins...
Ok.
After reading the massive thread on the LVM 37-W3 - I really want one!!
Has anyone from Australia gotten one? If so, how?
So far, the only website which seems to ship intentionally is the excaliberpc - is that my only choice?
Thanks in advance!
Hey guys,
Just a few questions (they may have been answered already but I can't find them)
1) Do movies played through your PC look good? (or do you have to stand far away)?
2) If you got it from Australia, where did you get it from?
3) is the base/footprint chunky?
Cheers
p.s...
