been reading some posts at other forums about the 950 and some ppl are barely getting 3.8ghz or 4.0ghz out of it. Plus their temps on the chips are high. Have others experienced this or is it just the usual? few chips in a batch that just don't overclock?

also if you read the coupon, the 10% says that you cannot use it on in-store pickup items, which just blows. I only have like 2 Bestbuys in my area that have em and there are 25+ miles away and I do not want to go there and find out they are not in stock. Don't if I should go or not.

thats true, the traffic really sucks at both areas, especially during 4-7pm. But rockville does have some good deals, especially when they have a good clearance going on.

I have two Mircocenter's within about 20 minutes of me. (One in Fairfax and the other at Rockville). Not bad but no Fry's.

got around to installing mine. its an E0 and i am at 3.8ghz with 1.31v and a 450fsb. Running very smooth. Ran 10 passes of intel burn test with no issues. Great temps as well with my Zalman 9700: mid 30's idle and low 60's load. Pretty impressive little chip.

picked up one to, haven't installed it yet though. Just wanted to know, will my heatsink (Zalman 9700) be good enough or should I go get a 120 ultra extreme?

At the rockville Microcenter, they have increased the discount from 20% to 25%. I just bought a Lian Li PC-P80 Armorsuit for $250.00. They have 3 of those left, but they got a bunch of other Lian Li's still there and there all now 25% off the clearance price. :D good hunting.

try the program realtemp, for some reason it works best for me on my abit IX38 quadgt board with a e8400. I've heard realtemp works good with the new 45nm chips, especially the e8XXX series... With core temp/bios/speedfan, they had been measuring my temps around 50C (even after re seating...

got this card last week for $215, used the 12% coupon and the mystery buck ($5).. so not bad.... now just gotta sell my 7900 GS so i can pay for some of the cost of the card...... but so far its running nicely and have seen some good improvements for games at my resolution (1920x1200)...

two 7900 GS will be able to drive them but not for gaming tho.. if u use one monitor for gaming then it fine.. i have a 7900 GS w/ one 24" Dell monitor and works fine.. but can't play at full settins... they gotta be in the middle... for decent' frame rates...
