I had bought one for christmas but returned it due to really bad color drag. (whatever you call it when you move around and the colors streak across the screen in the opposite direction you are moving in game)
Can yall imagine the load of say... the number of people who play games... on a datacenter and internet infrastructure? I can also imagine that instead of paying for a console or to build a gaming PC, you'll just have to pay a LOT more to ISPs.
I'm definitely not on board with this streaming stuff. I'm all for streaming from my gaming pc, or console but not the whole 'receiving it as a service'.
Again? Have I ever talked with you before? Either way, I have never been paid interest on the taxes they overwitheld. Perhaps you just got overpaid and need to pay them back. The govt doesn't pay interest, only expects it.
It's not unreasonable for consumers to be pissed when promises are not met. Maybe they should clean house with people that can make and keep realistic promises. Also perhaps they should also stop blaming the consumer for their problems.
This is why I don't buy games at release anymore. In addition to review embargos, the price drops really fast afterwards and it's a better deal to get complete or definitive editions. And my massive backlog. But I just don't do it anymore and I'm much better off for it.
This basically just allows you to pay less for the console to pay more for media. It limits your options because physical media drops in price a lot faster than digital (if digital EVER drops). Thus why I buy physical almost always for console games. When they release a steam type client that...
You know... if you watch them, you can get them for 10-15 each on amazon brand new. The price fluctuates a lot. That's basically the cost of a movie ticket.
I personally prefer blurays. Don't get me wrong, I love streaming but with the hollywood license game, etc, you never know if your favorite show or movie will still be available to stream. With a blu ray, i know it's always there.
Why do they even use police in California? Maybe they should just let everyone do whatever they want with no police and see how that works out for them.
You know, this is where I draw the line. For now. I mean if i can get an implant that makes me 100x smarter, or have superhuman abilities, then perhaps I'll consider it. But I'm sure as hell not getting tagged like an animal.
I for one, learned from Destiny 1. I'm excited to play D2 but I won't until the final "all inclusive" pack comes out. This nickle and diming (in the range of $30 to $40) every few months is ridiculous and I refuse to buy into it again. I wonder how many others learned from their mistake with D1...
I am SHOCKED! SHOCKED, I tell ya!
All those liberal politicians keep telling me that adding a PA state tax on those horrible violent video games will reduce crime! Guess they were wrong. Again.
I really want to forward this to my local representative (PA resident here)
Yeah they really need to start making new games and stop riding the same games for a decade. Wow has been going for so long, Starcraft 2 has been shat on into a service type of game, CoD same shit every year.
Again, welcome to the state of taxylvania. It's turning into a mini California here. Anyway, if you'll excuse me, I need to find out who the hell to bitch out and write a letter now.
Then you get google being the arbiter of knowledge. Which is what you don't want. This flat earth crap is an extreme example, but you def don't want a company, especially one so biased, being the 'end all, be all' of factual determination.
The only problem is, is who is the one saying which opinions are crackpot and which aren't? (I mean this shit IS crackpot) but I want that determination left up to me, not google.
Welcome to games. This crap has been going on since online multiplayer immemorial. And it's not just with girls either (even though girls like this often believe it's all about them). You always have the tweens or teens who are just out to piss people off 'because', and you just have some...
