Wait are you sure that's correct? Dell's spec says with the stand its at least 332m in height:
Dimensions (WxDxH) : With Stand: 472.7mm x 177.7mm x 332mm to 513mm
After testing, all four RAM chips work fine
When I take out the graphics card the RAM goes back up to 3008MB, but when I put it back in, it goes down to 2496MB
Anyone got an idea why?
Each graphics card has 256MB memory, that shouldn't affect the system RAM should it?
Motherboard: Asustek P5B Deluxe WiFi-AP
GFX card #1: Leadtek WinFast PX7600 GT TDH Extreme PCI-E
GFX card #2: Leadtek WinFast PX7600 GT TDH Extreme PCI-E
I don't understand why when installing a second graphics card and using it to run a 3rd monitor, the BIOS shows 2496MB RAM and Vista...
Of course I know you'd need same manufacturer for adapter and router and both with "MIMO" to see a difference
Is Wireless-G+ with MIMO just a marketing gimmick or is there real improvements over standard 802.11g? Because I'm having trouble with decrease link speed on standard 802.11g
I've tried multiple adapters, both PCI and USB, none fix the problem, some downgrade to 1Mbit and stay there and not go back up to 54Mbit until I reboot or replug them.
I've replaced the WiFi router with an old Linksys one and it seems to have helped.
I intend to buy the Belkin Wireless-G+...
For more than 2 years I've been using wireless network (no other networks, same hardware as usual) but for a month now I've been having non stop problems, randomly Windows Task Manager shows the "Link Speed" fluctuate between 1Mbit to 54Mbit (the usual for many years)
As shown in the...
Since you're banned you probably won't read this but you're not supposed to use a TFT monitor anything else than its native resolution otherwise it looks like shit.
I have a problem after formatting and installing Vista and the latest 158.18 driver:
The screen image woobles when you open new windows and Aero makes it even worse, can't describe it well but half the screen moves to left or right out of range of monitor
I'm in the 24" "club" with 2407WFP Rev03 but I'm soon going to leave the "club" because the pixel pitch is too low as I'm used to pixel pitch of a 19" TFT.
For gaming the pixel pitch is perfect but for office work 0.270 is painful :( :(
I have my eyes on NEC LCD2690WUXi or Dell 2707WFP or...
I'm still trying to pick between this LCD2690WUXi and the 2707WFP.
What is the likelihood of getting a LCD2690 with problems if I was to buy it here in the UK?
Shall I wait a month or so for the current early faulty batch to be sold?

Eizo UK e-mail reply:
Many Thanks for your enquiry.
EIZO are bringing new widescreens to the market this year.
These will be business widescreens at 20", 22", 24" & 30". So to answer
your question, yes we will have a 30" launched this year.
Was hoping for 26" or 27" with 1920x1200 res
After reading ToastyX's post, it pretty much rules out me buying two of these monitors, I'm not going to pay £1800 (USD$3500) for monitors with those problems :( :(
Can anyone summarize this thread for me regarding the problems?
I intend to purchase two LCD2690 or two 2707WFP for office work (non-gaming/photo editing)
My dual 2407WFPs give me headache and painful for eyes - I blame it on the pixel pitch - I prefer my S-MVA 19" monitors to my 2407WFPs
I already have a 2407WFP Rev03 and thinking of upgrading to 2707WFP, would the pixel pitch be better for office work? (No gaming, no video - Only web browsing, spreadsheets, etc)

Anyone got this drive? What do you think of it?
Or if you have eSATA? Do you get same speeds as internal SATA? Any thing I should be aware apart from connecting it (mobo already has eSATA port)
I'm having difficulty completing a format of two Western Digital USB external HDs.
When trying the format utility using right-click in My Computer, it just freezes, both quick and non-quick format.
When trying the format utility in Computer Management from Administrive Tools, it also just...
Did you try installing only one RAM stick, then doing it again with the other RAM stick? My machine wouldn't boot until I found out of one of the RAM sticks was faulty and the PC kept flashing the light and switching itself off after 1 sec.
I think it might be that, something to do with pixels. While my programmer is not in an expert he believes it's similar to the restriction to using TFT panels in their native resolution and any other res and it'll look bad.
If I install Vista on HD1 and then XP on HD2 (seperate drives), will bootsector of HD1 be over-written when I install XP? Can I just select to boot from HD2 from BIOS and it boots XP without asking me which OS I want to boot?
When I rotate a monitor, for example put it in potrait mode and use NVIDIA to rotate the screen, the quality and sharpness of the image isn't the same as in normal landscape mode, is this normal?
E.g. Rotate my ViewSonic VP930 to potrait and set resolution to 1024x1280 makes the fonts not as...
I get lag every 60 seconds when using manufacturer's drivers and Windows Wireless Zero Configuration, making online gaming hell (think Battlefield 2 and flying)
