Well, I have both a first and second batch cooler. For my first edition I can glimse light through 3 of the heatpipes. Second batch cooler does not have this problem. I also was somewhat surprised by the new color. Don't mind though.

I believe this should be the Meltdown / Spectre BIOS fix. Not sure they would released an update otherwise? But I am kind of locked into the two PCIe slots right now.

Seems like there are some slight incompatibilities between the BeQuiet AM4 kit back-plate and this ITX board. I think I need to grind down the 2-3mm edges to prevent it from overlapping some components on the back. Not ideal, but I will hopefully make it work.

Based on my own experience, I would say the reason I favor the C14 in my old build, is down to the fact that you can use the default fan bracket included with the M1, blowing down on the cooler. (I don't use the bottom fan placement.) Having two fans blowing into the case, causes over pressure...

I want a 2011 socket type cpu and dual gpus. Most likely getting a new mobo and cpu and recycling my two 980ti. M.2 for main drive, and 2tb SSD for storage. What is the best/ biggest air cooler this is believed to fit this case with such a load-out?

Well, other manufacturers with semi-passive power supplies sometimes offer a selector switch. Perhaps that could be the compromise? (Makes it a lot easier to replace the fan as well, if you know you can run a lower RPM at full tilt from original supply.)
