well i just got my package. monitor is beautiful. havent done any dead pixels or any tests like that yet. version 1.80 is what it says in the system information. i ordered from newegg last week.

well i finally got my new desk assembed (ambience L workcenter) what a nightmare that was.... now waiting for the monitor.. hopefully get it tuesday.

well i called AIT they said they will call probably monday to make an apppointment! ewwwww........and it will be in san francisco tonight!? well ive gone my lifetime witout it so a couple extra days won't kill me. was the open box one at BB 1080p.

hmm they will have a hard time calling me. the # i have listed with newegg is bogus. :P i guess ill try to call the 1800 number tommorow morning.

mine shipped from newegg today as well. theres no tracking # that shows up tho. i also ordered a desk. the ambience L workcenter desk. pretty sweet desk i think. you can sit the monitor up to like 5ft back

has anyone that has been looking contacted newegg about when they expect any or if they really are getting any. they were supposed to have some on the 8th, then the 8th came around it changed to the 14th now.

did they mention when they were shipping more to retailers.. seems like a of places are soldout yet say it's on backorder meaning they are getting more at some point.

a lot of stores have "discontinued it" but i want to believe it was just the store's decision to discontinue it and not because they couldn't get any anymore. but i have no idea.

what you need to do is not play counter strike everyday for 6 hours and get a job during those 6 hours for like 2 weeks to get 100 dollars more to buy a decent lcd.

mwave, buydig, buy.com, newegg, and bhphotovideo are the stores im keeping an eye on to see if they go on sale. oh and i think its discontinued at crutchfield so i dont think it will show back up?

i dont know that any monitor is able to be killed by user error inside of windows..even if you try to make it do 100000mhz the thing should just not take it.. seems kinda redicilous you could force something on it that would break it via windows. if so there should be internet worms breaking...

no you dont need dual dvi since the resolution is 1920/1080 pretty much any decent video card can run it.

bay area for me too. :P a lot of places have been clearing the monitor out.. i've heard it's discontinued from some and not for others.. don't know who to believe.

awesome. glad to hear. i want one sooo bad. seems like most places are outta stock and the ones that have stock are charging too much. :P i hope they don't discontinue it... cause 37" is the perfect size imo.
