EVGA SC since it looks like it's the only one that doesn't have a massive PCB/cooler that extends way beyond the mounting bracket (which as big as I can go for my HTPC).
I own an Embody and love it. Had an Aeron before and currently have a Steelcase Leap in my office as well. I absolutely hate the Leap, I just can't find a comfortable posture for extended periods. The Aeron is nice, but I agree that the plastic edges can make it a bit uncomfortable. Overall, I...
It could definitely still be a cable issue. I had issues even with "properly rated" cables on my 4k/60hz setup (1 from Monoprice and 1 from Amazon that was defective). I would try a few alternatives before ruling that out as an issue.
Itching to upgrade my dual U3014s to a 4k setup. Ultra-wide doesn't appeal to me since I prefer to have dual monitors and that's just TOO wide, and a single one is too little real estate (and too low res for an upgrade). I also don't game nearly enough to go after the high refresh rate.
Looks...
I know this thread is a few weeks old at this point... but don't buy a Ceton ETH under any circumstances. It is a piece of garbage (I still own one), it crashes every few days and will require all your HTPCs to reboot in order to remain paired with WMC. The HDHR Prime is MUCH more stable.
Wow, finally something that is almost perfect for my needs, love the size, res, panel. Only issues I have are that I hate all the 'gaming' cosmetics of the monitor (red stand/'predator' label) and that price tag is a bit hard to swallow considering my machine ends up being used 75% of the time...
If you minimize the delay settings on the Harmony remote it should be decent. I have an X4200W and I don't find changing the volume to be way too slow (though it's not super fast either, and I assume it's all relative here)
I have an MX Master and a board with USB 3.0, no such issues. I doubt that's the culprit. Although, I guess my logic is just as flawed as yours, but I'd assume based off the lack of coverage of this issue that it's not related to USB3.
Quick google search is only showing about 30-40 of them in existence. Is audio fidelity that important to you at the gym? I can't imagine a 'discman' like blu ray player exists.
So, per your advice, I took the AVR out of the chain and began testing things. Turns out one of the cables from Amazon was defective. I even specifically ordered these so I woudn't run into this kind of an issue... went back to an old 'high speed' cable that is only HDMI 1.4a rated and it works...
Not sure if this belongs in the HTPC subforum or this subforum... 'Displays' seems to be more active though, mods please move if needed.
Just picked up a Sony XBR-75X850C, 4K TV that supports HDMI 2.0. I cannot get it to display a signal from my PC in 4k @ 60Hz 4:4:4. PC is connected as...
I haven't done it in a while - my experience stems from having EDID issues with my old card/TV/AVR. I think you can use Moninfo to dump the current EDID info (which will tell you if it's currently correctly showing that the TV is 4K capable) and modify the inf file as necessary.
edit: the fact...
Looking to buy a SiliconDust HDHomeRun Prime and spend ~$70 (came to that price based on recent forum/eBay sales). In original box is preferable but will consider without if it's in good condition otherwise!
