Question, troubleshooting a dell Dimension 4400. Got the error code on the back (the abcd lights) that indicated bad memory. Put new memory in it and now it starts up for about 4 seconds, no beep code, no abcd code, and then shuts off, thats it :-/ Any suggestions?

Anybody know how to delete the system restore files? I have disabled it on the drive but it is still taking up 6 gigs on it... Thanks for any help win xp sp2

odd, tryed it with the deadlines on and off twice for both, and it grabs protien 2564 every time from the server (I deleted the work folder info...)

Starting to research into getting the best folding cpu for about $200, but not really sure where to go, any takes? Here is what I have come up with so far... AMD Athlon 64 3400+ Newcastle 2.4ghz $205 intel Pentium 4 540J Prescott 3.2ghz $210 I really dont understand the difference...

Sorta did the same thing a few days ago. Was adding a breaker to the panel and forgot to unplug the little comp (so im really not sweating the loss) threw the breaker, and POWW, she started smoking. Guess I put the neutrel wire in the wrong place, hehe. Ohh well, live and learn I guess...
