I have an 8320, and noticed mine wasn't running games as fast as it had in the past. Checked my clocks, and they were around 1.5. When I changed the power management profile from energy-saving to performance, they jumped up to 3.5. Hope this helps.

I only use adblocking on clickbait sites and certain p2p sites with adult-themed ads. Otherwise, I don't have a problem with most ads. This site, for example, seems to only display computer-related ads, so I am actually likely to be interested in what they are selling.

Once I realized it just takes a while to download the WUs, it was running with little difficulty. It is up to 6% on some of them already, and my system is running much quieter than with F@H at full blast, so I may be able to watch a movie or something. :)

I just told F@H to stop when it finishes the current WUs, and I am downloading BOINC now. This evening I should be able to dedicate 4-6 4Ghz AMD FX cores to ATLAS for a bit.

This would make a great upgrade for my 5670, and should not require a new PSU.
