My trusty old WRT54 GL finally died without a chance for recovery (there was smoke).
I need something similar. What is the best out there right now? I would like to run DD-WRT if possible.
My top needs:
1. Reliable with torrents
2. Reliable and fast WIFI
I don't care for gigabit...
I've been doing some OCing lately and wanted to hear opinions on temperature.
Right now my Q9650 is sitting at 4 Ghz at 1.28 volts (It boots to windows at 1.22 but can only run Prime95 stable at 1.28), for some reason below 1.28 the third core always fails on Prime95, while the other three can...
+ This thing is smooth....
+ The browser rocks, best I've seen yet across any platform.
+ The native bundled apps for Office stuff rock
+ Youtube app is solid, playback is great.
+ Screen is great, size is perfect (perfect fit intp my suit pocket)
+ Video Chat app is very nice, works...
I just got a Macbook pro and was wondering something... is there no full screen button?
i.e. Like in windows you click the little "squares" to make the window fit the screen?
Holy crap its loud. At 100% fan its louder than my dyson vacuum cleaner.
Holding steady at 90C running furmark.
lol....
I guess still worth it for 360$.
Got a temp card here and it only works through HDMI or VGA outputs, shows "No Signal" through DVI as soon as the driver loads.
DVI works in safe mode.
Anyone see anything similar before?
I go into a store to pick up a second PCI-E card for back up and see a BFG 9800 1GB with huge stickers "As Advertised!"
The "As Advertised" price was 99.99 after 10$ mail in rebate (109.99 in store).
Behind the ad was a price sticker for this same card from last week. 89.99 without...
Hmn, apparently they still have 8800 GTX's in stock.
Was hoping to get a 260 like some others, but at least I'll get a working card :D
(Hoping, to get a working card, have been reading a few threads regarding EVGA sending back broken card because of minor dust... Crossing fingers here )
So far my absolute favourite is Ranger's Armor.
39 PR, +1 luck, +5 AP and +10 Small arms.
I have a set of fully restored power armor and only using the helmet :(
Powerarmor itself should've been made stronger.
I've been doing my own thing with SEO / SEM for past 4 years, and making pretty good money consulting with it outside of my real job.
I was thinking of switching careers, and looking at Dice.com I would fit into range of SEO Manager or Director with pretty damn good benefits (better then...
I just re-installed vista and installed these latest Nvidia drivers with physix included.
When running Vantage, I noticed that Fan speed on the GTX would increase during the test and would go back down to normal between tests.
Is this normal or some new feature? I don't have...
I was all happy with my new purchase until I found out that my corsair dominators are not "compatible" with my new Asus board....
Buyer beware! Now I am looking into purchasing new memory... too bad that majority of brads are incompatible...
I wonder why asus advertises capability to...
I'm trying to OC my e6600.
Set up all correct voltages, set up all bios settings to enable efficient overclocking (turn off all bloat crap).
I then go and try different FSB's...
1333 - works fine, prime95 for 10+ hours no issues
1419 - works fine, primes for 2+ hours ( does not...
Decided to overclock my 6600 and was playing around.
Anyways, after all the dust settled I could only pull the following:
1333FSB ( x9 ) at 1.35 volts ( 1.3 with vDroop)v
Going Above 3 gigs it fails orthos miserably at 3.1 I need to set core to 1.45 :(
At 3 GHz after 1 hour of...
Here's the issue:
Bios: P25
Memory: 2 gigs of 8500C5D.
Load all bios defaults, enable sli memoru to CPU OC MAX ( tried CPU OC 0% too).
Set all voltages to auto. 0 overclocking. Turn on Orthos and it fails RAM test within 10 seconds. :( :( :(
Runs CPU stress for hours...
Is...
Basically RAM fails Orthos Large FFT's after about 15 minutes.
Small FFT's CPU tests goes for 6+ hours.
Im thinking maybe 680i's default timings maybe at issue.
I have memory set, at 2.2v 5-5-5-15-2T and all subtimings left at default.
Currently im running Orthos RAM stress test, at...
