Sorry if I missed it earlier, but what camera do you have? I ask because the RAWs from my 50D can only be processed in Lightroom 2. As far as cropping, use software, LR2 can also do many more great things as well.

I had the no wakeup problem, turns out that the monitor cable that you get when you buy your monitor went bad on me and stopped working all together. I bought one from monoprice and have not had the issue return.

My 8800GTX gave me 1 FPS with Solidworks 2007-2009 until I soft modded it. The thing with gaming cards is that it is a crapshoot if it will work with solidworks. Now if you are set on using "real view", you will have to use an OpenGl type card.

If you correctly solder the wires to the pins they will hold. I've used this method wiring our FSAE racecar. It works on AMP, WeatherPak, Deutsch, etc.. connectors. In the event you do not have a crimper, this is acceptable practice. But if you can wait, crimp.

Very small pair of needle nose pliers, and a lot of patience. You might also want to try and solder the wire and pin once you have them crimped. I never trust a crimped joint without using crimpers.

I am an Engineering senior. The single most useful tool I have is that 89 Ti calculator. It will do unit conversions, symbolic integration and differentiation, summation......just about everything, pass on the N-spire and get an 89 or a 200.

Disable v-sync. You have to do so within your video card control panel. There is no v-sync option in the game.
