Then you answered your own question.... It is an issue with the unit you own, which may have developed functional issues (with time and heavy usage) which may be causing the problems you are experiencing...
I seriously doubt that the unit had those issues when it came out the factory, and I am...
List it on eBay, and test the market for "offer and demand"... I see a few of them listed on eBay but they have not move... Also, you may try the local Craigslist...
If you sell it on eBay, make absolutely sure that you know how to properly pack these monitors... It is not that easy to properly...
What equipment and which procedures did you use to reproduce the image(s)? Was the unit you tested properly calibrated, aligned, and adjusted to factory standards before you started testing it?
We use state of the art equipment in our lab, and every unit we evaluated in the past was properly...
Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB NOS NEW CRT MONITOR
Are people aware that the Diamond Pro 2070 NOS and the LaCie ElectronBlue IV have the same tube? We evaluated both units a few years ago, and concluded that the LaCie ElectronBlue IV has better color rendition and better image quality than the...
That issue can be due to many part(s) malfunctioning... If you are in local CA, or are willing to ship to unit to us, we can run extensive tests on the unit and determine which part(s) are faulty...

Please contact me via PM when you can. Let's set up a call so we can have a full discussion as to the engineering and the why's of what many of us advised you to do...

That is the correct approach at first... If the issue still persists afterwards, then we will have to take a close look at the hardware and perform extensive tests in order to identify faulty components...
Hope this helps...

Which operating system are you running? If you are running Catalina (Mac OS 10.15.x), there has been several reports of external monitor flickering; and some users have suggested some fixes to the issues. Please check the internet under "external monitor flickering while running Catalina"...
I am so sorry but I will not do that as cranking up the brightness of a perfectly calibrated and adjusted monitor to 100% is not only moronic but strongly NOT RECOMMENDED!
Here is a wise advice for you... When it comes to high grade/high end electronics... You play, you PAY!
And lastly, I...
Luminance depends on emission "juice" of the tube. Low emission tubes will demand adjustments over 200 during the second pass in all WinDAS white background adjustments, and the highest the adjustment the tube requires, the lower the emission is and the more "washed out" the tube is. Now, in the...
You should not have the GDM-FW900 set at 100% brightness and 100% contrast... Now, for what/which purpose and why would you want to set/measure luminance at 9.3K with those settings?
UV!
I will be offering two (2) GDM-FW900 from my personal collection. Anyone interested, please PM me... I kindly ask for serious inquiries...
Take care and keep safe!

In short and not going too deep into details.... The GDM-C520/520K has a different chassis than both the P1130 and the CPD-G520 (there is no CPD-G520K), which in fact have the same chassis. Besides that, the GDM-C520/520K had a high grade picture tube with a different phosphor than the CPD-G520...
The Dell P1130 is not a rebrand of the Sony GDM-C520K... It is a rebrand of the CPD-G520... It has the same exact tube and internal components, except for a few different parameters...
Hope this helps...

Unkle Vito!

Have you tried doing a system reset on the monitor? If that fails, then it is EEPROM corruption and the only way to fix it is to upload the original file, which most likely you will not have. UV!
