Amazon currently is offering the WD Black 850X for $237 for Prime Members. Previously it was $229 back in December so pretty good deal if you missed out.

I do ok on it. Mainly play BF2042 these days. Figure I will also give Diable IV a run and maybe try Evil West. I am also waiting to see if UFC 5 ever comes. I played a bit of 4 on Xbox.
The original was released a year before Dark Souls. I thought maybe you were talking about Divine Souls which I think released around the same time as Vindictus in 2010.
Thanks. I definitely need a hoarder mod. I am bad about keeping loot and never enjoyed loot tetris.
Is rainbow still needed or am I thinking of another mod? I remember reading at one point some loot mod being incorporated.
I keep forgetting about this game. Installed it while waiting for my GPU and then never fired it up.
I grabbed GrimTex 4x. Anything else worth installing modewise? I never beat the game so more just looking for enhancements rather than a complete overhaul mod assuming there even is such a thing.
Old thread, but curious what everyone is using.
I have been playing with Stable Diffusion and just got Krita up and running with it for live renders so I want a tablet to dabble with. No idea if I will stick with it, but I figure something to play with. It will be attached to my desktop so...
Figured I would update this and close it out.
I ended up with the Asus XG349c which is the 34" 21:9 IPS panel.
At first this thing looked like it was going to be huge out of the box, but I pretty quickly adapted. It is a bit too tall for TV use even bottomed out, but it works. I couldn't...
This has been my gripe for years especially considering we had things like the GHOUL system in Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2 in the 90s. I guess in some ways it is still a console limitation? People always waved their hand about it when I mentioned it so we must be in the minority. Oh look blood...
I think punctuation was missed which is why you were confused. I assume RagingSamster was talking about Microsoft Flight Simulator taking up 1TB and needing to reinstall TD2, not that there is something called TD2 MSFS, but then it has been so long I may be wrong.
For those who never played the original, not sure if it is still playable, it was very much just a large action RPG instanced MMO lite. Towns had people but missions you went on your own. Combat was active so played more like an Assassin's Creed and then you received a letter ranking on how fast...

I remember playing the old one and having a decent time. Apparently this was back in 2010 so it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Did they ever figure out the loot capacity thing? If I remember the engine wouldn't let them fix some of the issues or increasing capacity, which people were requesting back when I played. I am a loot hoarder so bags and storage was always full.
I couldn't find anything sub 50 ping and I am in the SE on 1 gig fiber. I don't mind the FF, but yeah it is more people always stepping in and blocking your swings.
More BF2042 solo with some mixed multiplayer. Always go to do things and find annoying the limitations. Portal really should have been nearly unlimited settings but they have weird restrictions like if you say bf3 classes on a bf2042 map you can't limit weapons. Also it is still missing a bunch...
Solo mode is surprisingly decent. I have been playing it just to unlock stuff and also mess around with weapons I wouldn't use in a real match. AI is much like players in the way you have to run up to them and spam need ammo before they will drop ammo. The enemy medics seem to go way overboard...
It isn't the action I find I am missing, but more the exploration without the survival mechanisms. Give me some robots that complete these tasks for me so I can purely go out and explore and flag stuff for them to retrieve. :)
I guess game pass limits you to 100 servers so I mostly see full servers with queues ignoring the ones that have high pings so it was the only server that didn't have a full server below 50 ping. I may try it again later, but from reading looks more mil sim which I don't really get into too...
Figured I would give it a shot on gamepass, I just got to the first space station. It is interesting though a bit micromanagement for me so far. I kind of wish you could get a better feel for what you need. I kept having to harvest, craft, harvest the same thing again since it didn't really...
Quickest uninstall I have ever had. I figured I would give this a shot since it is on gamepass and I can finally play some games. Can't do anything since all the squads are locked so only option is to create my own at which point a bunch of people flood the squad and start cursing me out. I...
I get it. I just wish they had handled it differently or made a better reason for the mobs to be bullet sponges. Leaving them as humans with no armor kind of breaks it for me especially when shooting them in the face multiple times. I would rather have to level up weapons like in other RPGs...
Reinstalled both and they are still pretty. The Division looks even better than I remember. I forgot how annoying I found the bullet sponge in these games though. Burning through 900 rounds of assault rifle ammo to kill 6 guys with head shots in the beginning of The Division killed this game in...
Played a little of everything, but nothing has blown me away not that I expected to.
Far Cry 5 - I wish their was an option for more realistic damage. Ubisoft loves their bullet sponge enemies, and I get annoyed emptying a mag in someone's face only for them to still be standing. Supposedly...
It is amazing how little EA and DICE seem to have done with BF. Just played a bunch of rounds again where my team lost like 10 times in a row. At no point did the game try to rebalance like custom servers in BF4 did.
Tried redacted since I kept hearing it was like the old lockers map, but...
Ended up going 34" Asus XG349C which is a 180hz IPS 3440x1440 and the game looks good. I think 32:9 would have been way too big of a jump, but who knows down the road how I will feel. This monitor already feels huge but then I am coming from a 24" and jumping to a 34" which is essentially 2x27...
Children of the Sun is a Devolver game which is interesting. It is a sniper puzzle game where the shots dictate your next position.

Not sure how I feel about the beta. It isn't bad, but I kind of wish ship combat had the option for less arcade style combat. It reminds me a bit of The Division where I would need to get my head wrapped around the bullet sponge mechanics. At least as far as I have noticed, aiming other than the...
I am on the flipside of that lol, but never played the first one or Mordhau that I remember. I started playing it since it was part of gamepass. I can see why people like it, and what it is trying to do. It just isn't satisfying and is more frustrating to me.
I randomly die to weapons that...

I would skip Bloodkill. Just kill endless mobs in a classic 90s look. Nothing too it and doesn't really show anything...
