I recently bought a gtx460 from Galaxy for my girlfriend's computer. I really liked the removable fan and the card quality has seemed pretty good.
Keep up the good work Galaxy...I'll need some new card for my new build next year!
I've had the Envy 14 since about the last week of July.
I absolutely LOVE mine and would highly recommend it but they dont offer the radiance screen anymore =/. The screen is literally 30% of the reason I bought it...its absolutely brilliant.
I don't really know what else to say...used a...
I'm being dead serious. Its true though that I dont like IEMS...there is like no bass on them at all.
Personally, I feel that the KSC75s have a fuller sound. The Superfis MAY have better highs i guess?? Anyway, I prefer the KSC75s sound a lot more.
Despite them being 15$, they are reallly good...
I have them both...the superfis were 60$ new on amazon over the summer. Personally I only use the superfi's for noise isolation...The KSC-75s sound better.
Thanks for the reply,
How is the weight, portability, and battery life? I would consider a Sager or Asus or another laptop, but I've heard they weigh far more than the gx640, are bulkier, and otherwise have horrible battery life.
I'm coming from a first generation macbook, which was rather...
So I am looking for a mobile laptop, but also one that can game pretty well.
I know you have to make a compromise between performance and weight/battery life, but what I want is a
~15inch laptop with ~2 hours of batter life and <6.5 pounds.
Given these stats, it needs to have the...
Currently I'm using BSPP G 1/4 size barbs.
Would this work ?

It says G 1/4 but is there a difference between BPST and BSPP
Like I said, I don't plan on OCing ANYTHING at all. I simply want the computer to be as silent as possible.
My question is, does the X2 produce a lot more heat than the x850xt, because currently my x850xt is cooled just fine.
Its the older version of the bigwater, I dont know the exact name but its from about three years ago. Maybe Bigwater 425 or something?
Currently I'm cooling my cpu and graphics card.
Hello folks,
In my system I currently have an sapphire x850xt cooled by a thermaltake water cooling system and the following gpu block:

The temperature idles at around 35 or 40 degrees celsius, and I have no...
You say that your computer was making a loud noise and then stopped. Sounds like your gpu cooling fan started grinding, and then stopped working all together. Check whether its still spinning. I suppose that could be your problem
Will the optical connection from the x-meridian to the receiver be decoded in 5.1? I also heard that the Theatron doesnt decode in 5.1, that your receiver must do it. How would this be different from your receiver emulating surround sound from an analogue out.
I was looking at the Auzentech X-Meridean, but I've heard the sound lags in startup, and that it is over priced... What do you all think? I don't want to spend much over 200$ (would prefer less than that). Any suggestions?
Yeah, I wan't surround sound, but I wan't is to be decent for gaming as well. What other brands have DTS encoding besides the Oxygen. Are E-mu cards any good for gaming?
Whats a good sound card for gaming with spdif out (optical or coax is fine) for less than 150$. I looked at some X-Fi but having the SPDIF out on the drive bay seems retarded. If I want to connect it to my Receiver, having the cable running from the front of my card would be very strange and...
Grado's are not for gaming as they have bad sound stage, very bright (so no boomy explosions), and very uncomfortable (unless you change the pads). PX100 is okay... I would go for a pair of Audio Technica ATH-A500's. These are closed so your roommate wouldn't hear much, they have nice...
I use vent all the time too, but a built in mic just doesnt cut it, the zalman clip on works better. Generally, Headsets have terrible sound as well. For under 100$, go for a used ATH-A700 / A500. The Beyer 770's are good but are easily (140$ + mic + amp ~ usually recommended for a dt770) way...
Usually they arent, but currently they are more similar than before. ATH-A900's are 169$ + 11$ shipping = 181$ from audio cubes but are usually 179$ + 11$ shipping = 191$. DT770 on the other hand you can get from guitar center for 125$.
