I have a toughbook 33 that I use at work. It is running Windows 11.
Lately, my pen and touchpad will stop working at the same time and the only to fix it is a reboot. If it was just one or the other I'd have a clear idea of the problem, but these are basically two different interfaces. The...
If you had to choose between the Asus RT-AX86U aX5700 and the RT-AX92U AX6100 which one would you choose and why? What advantages/disadvantages do each have over the other?
I'm currently using a D-Link DIR-655 that I've had for ages. It's starting to show it's age requiring restarts...
I'm building a new PC for my grandson. I have a unactivated copy of Win10 Pro that I plan on installing, but I've got a question.
Win10 wants your Microsoft Account when you first log in. I want it set up to where when he gets it, he can make it his (his Microsoft Account, etc.), but I need to...
I currently have a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW which is 22" and 1680x1050 res at 60hz.
I'm getting older and seeing things on this screen is sometimes getting harder. I have a recently built system including a 980ti and do some gaming (Arma3/Tomb Raider/Flight simming/etc.) but it's mostly single...

I have a brand new oem win7 that has never been installed (bought from newegg).
Can i install win10 from usb and use the win7 key without ever installing win7?
Or do I have to install win7, upgrade to 10 and then do a clean win10 install?
Was bored tonight and had my PICO 4423 scope home from work, so I thought I'd take it after my Corsair HX620W PS and see just how steady the volts are. Note that this is with all the peripherals hooked up and the PC running. The PICO is hooked to my work laptop.
So lets get started. Let's start...
I have two PCs on my network right now. A home PC wired to my DIR655 router, and a wireless connection to it from my laptop using N.
Using speedtest.net Atlanta, my laptop usually gets a slightly better down and upload rate, but consistantly gets a 500+ ping while my wired PC averages a 18ms...
Just used a 10% off promo code I had found online for NOD32. I used this after the already 25% off on 2 yr. subscription NOD deal already going on. I searched the forum and didn't find it already posted so I thought I would share it.
Promo code: LEO22
I've seen a couple people use an inverter and then plug there laptop powerbrick into that, but shouldn't a car be able to provide direct DC to a laptop? Anybody know of any adapters?
This is a pretty simple question. Does MP COD5 share users from the consoles and PC or are they seperate server arrays?
I've wondered this in the past about MP games that were on different consoles and PC too.
Network Magic is currently on sale but you can take an additional 33% off. I just got the Essentials for $16.70.
At checkout, enter the code NMEasy for 20% off. Next enter the code myperks for an additional discount making your total about 33% off. I believe this will work for Pro too, but it...
I have a Vista Home Premium 64bit laptop that I'd like to add a couple VMs running 32bit XP Pro. My question is whether purchasing one copy of XP Pro is sufficent or if I need to purchase a copy for each VM I plan to run that OS?
I've read in numerous places that a firmware update on the DLink DIR655 contains malware (Securespot) that will at random times browse to a page for secure spot without your asking it too and without regard to what you were already browsing, attempting to get to pay for their program whether you...
I have never had a wireless network at the house and have a couple questions to see if the D-Link DIR-615 would meet my needs. I assume it connects to my cable modem and shares this connection with any computers I hook to it, wired or wireless. What I want to know is if it also lets me share...
A current thread here requesting suggestions for a paint program got me thinking about what I use and wondering if anyone else uses this program. I'm using Micrografx Picture Publisher 10. I have used several versions of this program with 10 being the last as Corel bought out Micrografx, took...
Are these two cards the fastest thing out for AGP currently?

I would like some views from people who have switched from Norton's Internet Security to ESET's Smart Security. Those who have not switched recently (ESET's has only been available for about a year) please don't jump in with how much better NOD32 is. I want some actual views of users who have...
I'm trying to use AVIVO to convert a avi file to DVD. When I use it this way it makes a Mpeg2. What can I use to make the Mpeg2 into regular DVD files that I can burn on a DVD-R and watch in any DVD player?
I understand some players will take mpeg2 files, but I want it in actual DVD format...
Just a small suggestion, but has Corsair thought of adding a fan speed lead out to their Power Supplies.
Just installed a HX620 and I'm very pleased with it. I thought about the above because my previous PS had a lead out for PS Fan Speed and my MB had a PS Fan Speed header so I could see fan...
I was reading the thread 2x1GB setup vs 2x512MB + 1 GB setup and saw that adding more memory instead of replacing it may slow a system down. Is the 1T/2T argument mute when it comes to intel cpus? I'm running a Gigabyte 8knxp board (i875) that currently has 1GB (512MBx2 of Corsair XMS). I was...
I'm wanting to upgrade my ATI 9800pro to a X1950Pro AGP and I'm hearing the power requirements are harsh. I'm currently using a Antec TruePower 380watt PS that's served me well for 3+ years. I'm looking to find an inexpensive quality PS to power my system that will handle the X1950Pro.
The...
What's the general opinion on Rosewill PSUs?

I just wanted to post letting everyone know that I'm impressed with this cooler. I got it from Zipzoomfly.com for $48 (I see they've went up to $52 now) which was the cheapest I could find it. I have a P4 3.2 (yes, extremely hot Northwood Socket 478) on a Gigabyte 8KNXP board. I was running a...
