I fix hundreds of consoles. Xboner got PS4 beaten on reliability. PS4s have all kinds of problems and seem more cheaply made. PS4 just got more popular than Xboner because it was cheaper with slightly higher specs that no one could tell a difference on.
I didn't say my tastes represent everyone else's. In fact, they're very different than the average. 99% of my photos happen to be close-ups which I doubt a dual camera setup is even going to help there. That dual camera gig would be better for portraits which other people take. I took several...
I prefer to go to the local grocery store, buy from Newegg and eBay sellers and my other main suppliers. We will still use Prime though, because it's convenient to get things quick at work for customers for certain items. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't use it.
Most people I know looking for an iPhone want the 6s or 7. There's just no point in upgrading so often in my opinion. I'm still using my Motorola from 2014. The camera photos look comparable to a Note 8's. The hype about cameras I don't believe. Wireless charging... who cares? Face ID... who...
Must have force shoved that SIM card in any old way wrecking it loose into oblivion. I just looked inside the hole and saw all kinds of bent, wrecked pins and thinking to myself this just got fucked too hard. I told her the SIM hole got sodomized. Otherwise, the phone looked pristine.
Already saw someone sodomize their S9's SIM reader like someone's poop shooter today. Cheap piece of crap didn't want to pay me $100 to fix it. Hmm, wonder what that piece of garbage is going to do with that $1000 phone that I doubt they even own, just not pay their bill like an irresponsible...
I can find M.2 SATA to SATA and mSATA to SATA but can never find M.2 PCIe SSD to SATA adapters--I'm going to guess they don't exist. Adapter would only be used for convenience of data transfers when needed. I already know M.2 NVME PCIe to PCIe exists.
Have not seen the new one but I can't imagine it being as bad as The Force Awakenings--by far the worse Star Wars film in my opinion. Only actor I liked was Hans Solo the dude which they end up just killing. Overall crappy characters and acting and so much seemed unrealistic while copying the...
Yes, those screws are Torx. Those were the ones I guess he partially unscrewed. I kinda doubt they would ship them that way but who knows.
Higher resolution here:

Alright, I finally got it mounted. Here was my solution that no video or forum mentioned. I'm guessing the customer partially unscrewed the other bottom torx screws--NOT the ones labeled 2 and 3 but the other ones--that's why it kept lifting. Those screws weren't going through the motherboard...
All the screws get tight, so they're going through the threads or at least that's my impression.
At any rate, he has an ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme board with Foxconn socket.
A customer who never built a PC before who attempted to build one brought me his that didn't POST. It has a Threadripper CPU. For whatever reason, the socket never sits flat or parallel to the board where the two bottom screws 2 and 3 reside. When tightening torx screws 2 and 3, it causes the...
Right-click the star... remove. Right-click the pocket... remove. Pretty simple to get rid of those. As for the ellipsis, there's probably some config you can change.
Noticed a drastic improvement here since updating to v57. On certain websites I would get lag all the time was just about to switch but not anymore. I suspect Javascript was the issue but unsure.
I want to build a Ryzen 7 machine with an NVME drive for work and will not be used for gaming. As many of you probably already know, Microsoft is trying to stop support for updates for anything older than Windows 10 for Ryzen 7 CPUs. There is a patch out to fix that. Just wondering if I'd be...
Router arrived in the mail. I saw 800-850Mbps downloads a few times at the beginning. Now it just consistently shows 500-550Mbps again, and uploads are usually higher. Outside of the router shows Verizon but at default gateway, it shows Frontier. Should I return it? I'm going to leave it...
Working with CRM would be nice but not 100% necessary. It's my impression PBX cloud-based service is expensive. Slapping up a cheapo server seems way more cost-effective.
One or two extensions could do. Doing an in-call transfer or extension to my cell phone (call forwarding) would be nice, but I think I could live without.
Main goal is to be able to record all phone calls and keep a record of them. This will be for my job. Customers never like to pick up their phones and will lie that we never called them or that they tried to call us. Would love to play these recordings in front of their face if needed. Also...
I did see those Frontier ones. I never ordered them though. The other G1100 that I'm sending back I eventually opened up. Two jumpers were touching each other and one antenna coax connector looked mangled near the top-front of the unit. I assume the two antenna cables should've been connected to...
I'd like to setup a local PBX server. I currently have Verizon FIOS. Digital Voice comes with it which should be VoIP. It's my understanding this requires using regular analog phone to which the ONT acts as the VoIP gateway to then convert to digital--is this correct? Is this doable, and how...
Using a Cisco RV320 that I acquired elsewhere but if I'm bypassing the router I don't think that should matter. It has latest firmware installed. I saw a blue CAT6 cable from the ONT at the back of my workplace which is very long to the front of my workplace. It's at least 50' long. The...
I don't understand. What do you mean by traffic meter?
I just recently bought gigabit FiOS at work, and the max I keep getting is 500-550Mbps. I called Verizon, and they just say I need their official router to do any diagnostics. I connected a laptop directly to the demarc point bypassing any...
Plenty of teenagers, bums, or felons would take those jobs. It would hurt the corporations who love paying less than minimum wage for the illegals that come in.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 at 10.1" running Android is lighter than the larger iPads. Large bulk of tablets are 10.1". Maybe check out the Asus Transformer tablets, too. They're decently priced and run Windows or Android. The iPads are by far the more common tablets I've seen at work.
Yes, there are a lot of Samsung phones in my area, and I considered that. Still I think they deliberately make them that way. People will keep buying Samsung due to the tech specs and marketing.
People claim to barely to drop their Samsung phone, and the LCD goes blank. I've seen the S4 LCD...
I've repaired many cell phones. I see Samsung phones all the time. They have piss poor build quality. I've seen brand new Samsung with all kinds of problems, and their parts are stupidly expensive. I've seen a few G2s with a slight crack making the digitizer partially inoperable. Of the two, get...
