Just to clarify, I'm comparing VGA and component with the only 2 games I had at the time. Namely DOA4 and NFS:MW.

Just to make your decision even more difficult, I bought the VGA cable to use with my 2405FPW. IMHO, it definitely looks better. The jagged edges I had with the component cables are gone. The colours are definitely not washed out. YMMV.

If you push the Live button on the controller, that small blade comes out from the left hand side of the screen. At the top left there's a battery level indicator.

I had that BenQ for 36 hours before selling it to get a Dell 2405. Best move I ever made. The viewing angles on that LCD are completely and utterly shit. The colours aren't far off either. Stay away!

Got my VGA cable from Play-Asia.com last week. Came with both of the adaptors. I ordered the "asian" version. They have a japanese one listed too but its more expensive. To the best of my knowledge, there's no difference between the two.

Try to get hold of a microfibre cloth. They're not expensive at all and they work DAMN well.
