Mr Wizard had a choice: either let it rock and face backlash from SJWs and the like, or shut the stream down and face the backlash that he's getting now.
Oh, and he inadvertently created the "core values" meme now.
Dammit lol why did you have to point it out... :)
At least they brought back the Supra in some way. I was expecting this to be sold as some Lexus F vehicle.
When I visited China a couple years ago, they already had a ton of photo gates everywhere taking pictures of car license plates for vehicle traffic and tracking purposes. I guess they're going the RFID route with it.
I switched over to android (currently a Nokia 8), and immediately put the Squarehome2 launcher on it. It's sad that even a 3rd party launcher has more features than the original live tiles on Windows Phone.
Got a few cards as hand-me-downs from my brother. Primarily used a Voodoo3 3500 TV, had a Voodoo Banshee in another system (tiny passive heatsink was hot as hell), and a Voodoo2 paired with a Matrox Millenium G200.
I wanted to get a second Voodoo2 and mod a floppy cable to do SLI, but never got...
AMD technically still does that to an extent. The driver they post is a reference driver with limited vendor specific support, which imo sounds like more of a catch-all statement that they won't know if it breaks anything on those laptops. Manufacturers likely have to test and optimize new...
Just noticed that they added the User Experience Program (seems like some sort of analytics/data collection thing).
Nice that it's unchecked by default. Kudos to AMD on this one :)
Somewhat related:
I once set up an Asterisk PBX server for a small software development company. We had one of the male devs voice the phone greeting and menu. Sure enough, customers complained...so we had to borrow a female friend's voice to sound more inviting and less angry.
I'll take the "up to" performance figures with a grain of salt, but it's great that AMD pushed out a new optimized driver.
So far so good with my systems...no crazy installation issues like the recent Nvidia one.
