Thanks in advance for opinions/info. My friend just ordered the galaxy gtx 465 deal from newegg (144.99 free ship + mafia 2). He is upgrading from 8800gs-- current setup is a stock 1055T system with 1 HDD, 2gb ram-- all running on Corsair 450W psu. Can this power supply handle the upgrade?

In as few words as I can: I think the controls hold me back from experiencing how good the game really is. I fucking HATE the ps3 controller for shooters.

I had the same problem with these green "specs" or "noise". They appear sometimes at random in dark areas of the screen. Turning the monitor on and off fixed it for me most times. It appears to be video card-related. It happens with my X1900XT. Apparently some folks say that these ATI cards...

Is the server one-hit kill? I dont like servers where I can kill ppl in one shot with the magnum from across the map-- feels cheap (but fun sometimes). Even if it is I'll still check it out :p

I'm sure there will be a fix to the sound.....eventually (I hope). I'm thinking Treyarch will get bitched at until they finally do something about it. I bought it today and will be playing when I get home.

After playing the game more, I think bolts NEED to be 1-hit kills for anything above the torso. As stupid as that sounds, it only makes sense after you have smgs that are super accurate and lmg's that kill u in 2 shots regardless of where u get hit. Some serious tweaking needs to be done.

I think that both ratchet and banjo look gorgeous. As for MGS4... I don't think so... shitty, shitty textures on everything but the characters. Haven't played Dead Space or Uncharted, so can't say anything about those. I have my money on RE5 being the best-looking game on console this...

It's the other way around for me-- I don't give a shit about single player and I want multiplayer to be the main focus. However, campaign co-op is another story. Co-op makes even the shittiest single-player game fun.
