Basically anyone who is arguing 3D and VR are even similar hasn't tried VR. Do yourself a favor and don't say another word until you try VR for yourself.

You guys are talking out of your ass. Comparing VR to 3D Monitors is a complete farse. 3D isn't even in the same realm of immersion as VR and they can't be compared.

How active are the BF1942 servers these days?

I have a Vive and a successor prototype to the DK2. There won't be any problems selling VR headsets to the average joe once they try them out. VR is the future and is amazing.

I would have already sold my z170 pro gaming if it weren't for the fact that I also have an Asus 980 TI. This is the first major build I've done in like 7 years, and it has just been a disappointment. If I sell my motherboard, I'll sell the card too and go full gigabyte.

Wait until you try it. The space you need to have for even full-room stuff is not very large. I'm sure there will be apps out there in the future that push the playspace size to the very limit, but I just don't foresee it being a big deal.

I have access to a Vive and it is super awesome. You can calibrate the system for either full room gameplay or standing/sitting room only. I think you will be able to figure out an adequate play-space easier than you think. Sure you may need to clear some things temporarily, but the "room-setup"...

Definitely stay away from the Pro Gaming board. I'm going to offload mine as quickly as I can. I'm looking at a Maximus Hero, but even then the mediocre reviews on newegg are a little concerning. The Z97 boards were so rock solid, I'm mystified by these Z170 issues.

It works from the file simply being extracted on your OS hd. At least, I was simply able to point my easy flash app to my downloads folder where the .cap file was extracted. Updated no problem. :D I've seen other Asus motherboards require USB sticks be formatted as fat32, fyi.

I started using chrome the second it was available. I went straight from IE to Chrome, never really used FF. I switched from Chrome to FF a few months ago and I have been really happy. Google isn't what they used to be. Chrome is still a good browser, but I am trusting Google less and less.
