No, I didn't flash my board because I didn't know wich revision I had. That's crazy... :D
I sent the picture (see above) to Peter Tang from Zotac's tech support and today he sent me an email explaining that "236-DA105-0J1 BF" is a revision 1 motherboard. :(
No, sorry, only 2 ports.
Tested, I'm afraid there's no dual-link working on this thing, I exchanged the HDMI-HDMI cable with a dual-link DVI-DVI and no changes, just the good old 1920x1200 pixels. My Dell is sad. :(
I bought the board here in Spain, it didn't come from Newegg.
Wake up from...
You're talking about revisions, maybe you can help me to find out what revision is my board. I bought this one 3 days ago here in Spain.
How-to from Zotac:
but this is what I have on the back of my board:
BTW, I have a 30" Dell connected through HDMI and can't get 2560x1600, only...
I'm looking for a headset with the best quality mic (that's a priority), good sound for Skype & movies and big earpieces that remain confortable after 18 hours sessions.
External desktop mic or a clip-on mic hanging from the headphone cable (i.e. Zalman) is not an option.
Bluetooth devices...
Please, I can't believe I'm the only one with this combo and this problem in all the boards I've been asking. Is there anybody out there with a Radeon 3650 card and Vista Ultimate who can confirm o deny this behaviour?
My system:
Windows Vista Ultimate SP1
Asus Radeon EAH3650 512 MB
Intel Q6600 @ 2800 MHz
4 GB DDR2-800
Catalyst 8.45 from Asus, Catalyst 8.5 & Catalyst 8.6 from ATI
Windows Experience Index: 5.2
Aero seems activated, but the "Enable Transparency" checkbox is missing and the Aero style...
No, it's an S-PVA:
I’ve just got this reponse from Lenovo’s Desktops & Visuals team:
“The L220X uses an S-PVA panel. That is why it is able to have such high viewing angles combined with a fast response time”
I don't know how do you do that, but I have a SN95G5 and there's no 'minimal clearance', there's 0 clearance. The PC50 psu touches the top of my A-Data's aluminum heatsinks. I don't know how in the hell I'm going to shrink this psu in there. :(
Ok, unbelievable... I had it in front of my face all the time, the Vcore option in the GA-K8NF-9-RH BIOS is called HAMMER VID. Go figure...
I think he tested some US HD-DVD movies encoded with VC-1, and some homemade samples encoded with h.264 at high bitrates (x264?). I doubt you can get a h.264 HD-DVD movie in USA right now, maybe in Japan.
Hi, first post here looking for some help.
I'm trying to overclock my Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9-RH and I'm not been able to find the Vcore setting in BIOS (F1 version). I've tried also that CTRL+F1 hidden thingy but to no avail. The Vcore option doesn't show up at all.
The windows EasyTune 5...
