I'm having problems too because of AMD compatibility. Can't update the firmware in Windows with Magician and tried creating a bootable CD and USB drive (using YUMI) with the ISO but it doesn't seem to boot.

As the title states, I ran the WEI on a clean install of W7 with an 8120 and it ran fine. I installed the two hotfixes from Microsoft for the FX cpus and now at the end it says the WEI could not finish because of a driver or problem, etc. The only thing that's changed has been the installation...

Mine died back in Nov. 06 and the refurbished card from Dell only lasted another 2 months before it died too. The first one was a great card though.

Got it fixed. Someone directed me to the Asus forums. Apparently the latest bios has a problem with the E6600 where it sets the multiplier down to 8. Manually setting it back up to 9 solved the problem.
