    Logitech Z-5500

They are just different colour scheme on the control. The purple is only available after tweaking using tips and tricks if you search google. I suspect that they sent you a refurbish model rather than a new one. They are a couple of other hidden features within the control if you care to do...

Positive pressure setup killed my mobo

You can't be serious?! Usually when people say positive pressure is better, what they really mean is, is that there should be more air going into your case than going out. i.e FRONT/Side air going in > Exhaust/Top air going out. But in your case it sounds like there's air going in but no air...

    1.55v on X2?

I can OC to 2.6 GHz on stock vCore with my 4200+. Upgraded to SI-128 and I got to 2.75 GHz @ 1.472 volts (CPU-Z) and 4 hrs and 30 min dual prime stable. Stopped there cause i couldn't be bothered to go on for 8 hrs. Temp for 2.75 never went above 47C. Tried 2.8 GHz but @ 1.53 volts. One of...

Well yeah i noticed that. I can only hope i guess. We'll see when the final product comes out. I'm not in a hurry to get one anyway. If XFX comes out with a passive cooler like their 7950GT i'm sold. At least i'll get my HR-05 to line up correctly in the horizontal direction and i'm planning...

LOL. Yeah. Been reading stuff here for sometime. A few people requested for pictures with SI-128 so i thought i'll satisfy their curiousity. It's my first time installing a HSF. But i think it'll went well except for the lapping session. Was too tedious and erm disgraceful, so didn't take any...

Here's my Thermalright SI-128 & HR-05 SLI MY SI-128 is attached to a Panaflo 120mm Medium Speed fan with RPM Monitoring (BX Series). 86.5 CFM@ 2100 rpm. The SI-128 cools my cpu so well the fan doesn't come on at all or at low speed for anything below 40C.

    The absolute best air cooling?

Your analogy is seriously flawed. It is an improved version. More fins for more heat transfer area. It is based on the same fundamental design, but altered to make it even more efficient and powerful. Your 120mm and 80mm analogy is completely off mark. Like a Mercedes S300 compared to a...
