I have a high pitch whine coming from my custom high pc. Don't know what's causing it. Most people would point towards a cheap psu. But I have a Corsair hx750...it's not cheap. I can hear the high pitch noise "bleed through" to the speakers. I can also hear it just by listening with my head...

Yes the receiver has dsp. From what I'm hearing I think I should give the headphones a chance as they are. Then buy an amp if needed. Is it better to go with an amp or a dedicated sound card?
